    Joey Ortiz is hitting .270 … that is quite remarkable. Every 54 games (1/3 of the season) … for two years … I have “predicted” a Joey Ortiz breakout. It finally happened! He’s one of my favorite Brewers players. You can win lots of baseball games with guys like Joey O.

    Bauers has such a beautiful swing. I wonder if he is another Justin Turner … a big leaguer who figured things out at age 30 & had several excellent offensive seasons. I hate to see him depart. Not sure the abrewers will attempt to re-sign him though.

    I was deeply concerned that the Packers OL would be terrible against the blitz happy Flores defense … but it was far worse than I anticipated. I can’t believe Jordan Love survived. One of the worst position group performances I’ve witnessed in all my years of watching professional sports. I’m not confident it will improve moving forward. Not sure LaFluer is a leader of men.

    Mitchell is on fire … 4 for 4 tonight. His double here & the slam last night were flocks of the wrist. He has exceptional, unrealized power. I surely hope he can remain healthy for the next few seasons.
