I certainly hope he doesn’t get another opportunity this year … if only for the fans … he’s unwatchable in his current condition. And I’m not as confident as you are regarding mental challenges being fixable for a big league player.

For this year, we have final answers on Harrison & Sproat. They are unusable moving forward. For next year, they are both huge question marks & should not be depended on for starting rotation roles. Harrison has bounced to three organizations with occasional success but volatility in results. Sproat has talent (good stuff) but appears to lack the “makeup” or “mental toughness” of a major league pitcher. I would be pleased as punch if we traded both during the offseason.

I was in favor of standing pat at the trade deadline. I’m not sure we improved the team in any way. I’m not fond of any of the players we acquired … possibly May, but not the relievers.

Yes … & maybe Harrison will throw a complete game no-hitter on Friday … but it’s not likely in either instance

I hope Yelich returns to Milwaukee in 2027 as the highest paid pitching coach in MLB. We could use his roster spot for one of our young studs. He was an incredible Brewers player in his prime. He remains an exemplary team leader. He offers nothing to this offense.

No judgment on anyone who drinks alcohol but I haven’t had a drink in 42 years. I understand that not everyone shares my values or conservative worldview. That said, I don’t believe “getting drunk” is a choice an adult makes. Moderation in all things - including alcohol - is wise … celebrations included. I surely hope our team isn’t fighting a hangover because we have so much more to accomplish. Every game counts until we’ve sewn up the #1 NL Seed. I’d love to see the Brewers win 100 games because it is such a rare feat these days.

I’d be happy to watch the division clinching win tomorrow night with Henderson on the mound. I also don’t mind watching the Cubs blow a game to the Braves.
