  1. Another nice at bat by Mitchell. He’s looked better the last few games.
  2. Because Vaughn is one of the slowest players in MLB I’m more surprised they didn’t pinch run for him
  3. I could care less about a no-hitter I’m only concerned about winning the game I’d also like to see Miz go 7-8 strong innings to preserve the bullpen for the next few games And as a bonus, I’d like to see the offense score runs beyond the first inning
  4. I hope Ortiz breaks out in the next 1/3 of the season. He is due to have a run offensively.
  5. I’m saving my prayers for Woodruff to rebound & remain healthy once he returns
  6. When I saw Gasser & Sproat listed as starting pitchers for this Dodgers series, this is exactly the result I anticipated.
  7. Gasser followed by Sproat against two-time defending WS champs is difficult to watch Not our best look extra innings to a weary bullpen
  8. Mitchell has had two good plate appearances today - both with good results If he can become consistent & lower his strikeout percentage - he’s a keeper
  9. One of my all-time favorite Brewers. I met him in the early -70’s when he played for the AA Shreveport Captains. Such a nice guy. He had a cannon right arm both at catcher & in RF for Milwaukee.
  10. Turang seemed to let up a bit maybe not anticipating a close play at 2nd. He was out on a missile from Pages. Incredible throw.
  11. Sproat at 43 pitches after two innings on a day we need / length from him Suggestion: STOP WALKING DODGERS PLAYERS
  12. Hoping Sproat gives us some length today to preserve the bullpen for the Cardinals series A series win against this two-time defending champion Dodgers would be sweet as well
  13. This should be a wider discussion … DFA candidates: Rengifo, Woodford, & possibly Sanchez Option candidates: Perkins, Gasser There are multiple candidates to take the place of these players: Jett Williams or Cooper Pratt for Rengifo Jeferson Quero for Sanchez Akil Baddoo, Luis Lara, or Eddys Leonard for Perkins McGee, Pannone, Stallings, CRod can all give us “mop up duty” in place of Woodford Fitzpatrick, Yoho, & Zastryzny could also add value to the pen I can tolerate Joey Ortiz remaining on the major league roster because he adds value defensively & has been getting on base via walks recently. He will make a great late inning defensive replacement at SS, 3B, even 2B. I love Perkins as a person & he is an excellent CF - but let him work on his hitting in Nashville. We can use Mitchell as the defensive specialist. Rengifo made sense to begin the year, but it simply hasn’t worked out. He was never good enough defensively to play 3rd, & his offense is worse than last year when he was having an off year. It’s time.
  14. I would love for Contreras to have batted against Sasaki in this first inning
  15. In spite of the six walks, a hit batter, & an error - Brewers only gave up one run tonight (unearned)
  16. Brewers are third in run differential Brewers are first in (least) runs allowed [we’ve played two few games than most teams]
  17. Does Patrick close it out for Milwaukee? I surely hope so.
  18. We are all indeed a board full of dudes & dudettes … not MLB caliber managers BTW - Where is our Florida dudette board member … I haven’t seen her post this year
