  1. It happened last year too … but the team was better & covered several of his poor decisions.
  2. I disagree. Not only is he “just an employee” he is an “underperforming employee.” Pride & yesterday’s contributions cannot factor in to today’s decisions. We are losing games because no one has the backbone to make essential, hard decisions.
  3. I despise the decision to put Payamps in when the game was winnable. That is 100% on Murphy. This loss (as well as several others) is completely on him.
  4. Why is a conversation (to get permission) necessary? He is an employee & Murphy is his boss. He needs to be “informed” of the decision & it should be a short conversation.
  5. We would be much improved if he (a) spent significant time on the bench, & (b) was moved to the bottom of the order IF he has to play
  6. Here’s the song that comes to mind when I watch Yelich bat these days: https://youtu.be/EQN3gvu9oZo?si=Oxz83-lab_nAA8D7
  7. Why on earth would Murphy put Payamps in that situation? How could he risk this game as if it didn’t matter & could be the won away? His daily decisions with lineups & pitching changes are terrible … especially the pitching changes - it’s like he’s reaching into a hat & drawing out a name. If his in game decisions were as good as his baseball experience & résumé, Milwaukee might have won 3-4 more games this year. He’s got a terrific personality & he’s a fun interview … but I’m ready for another skipper. And yes, I know he won manager of the year in 2024, but I don’t believe he is a good field manager … at all.
  8. I can’t put my finger on exactly why, but there’s something about the 2025 Brewers that is not enjoyable. I love baseball & I love the Brewers, but I seem to feel angry or agitated or frustrated (more often than not) when tuning into their games. Am I the only one? I feel like I’m wasting time rather than investing time in watching this team.
  9. He may have, but he is such a tease because he can’t stay healthy Losing both Mitchell & Perkins was a huge loss defensively to this team
  10. Even if Yeli doesn’t need a day off … as a fan, I need him to take a day (or week) off
  11. I certainly like Henderson - curious how he & Burnes are similar pitchers in your opinion
