  1. It should be time to remove the 3rd catcher now that the trade deadline has come & gone I assume we will soon DFA Haase & lose him to a playoff contender looking for a good backup C Would Hicklen or Black be a good replacement?

  3. Junis & Wiemer to the Reds … seems like an overpay I thought Junis was pitching well for us What an odd trade … not sure we got better
  4. Robert Murray ⁦‪@ByRobertMurray‬⁩ Trade: The Milwaukee Brewers are acquiring pitcher Frankie Montas from the Cincinnati Reds, pending medical review, according to sources familiar with the deal. 7/29/24, 8:34 PM
  5. I think the Arica HR does it for me … I’ll watch Gunsmoke or Bonanza & check the score every 20 minutes … so tired of watching bad baseball for the last month or so … 🤢
  6. I fear the “first & third with no outs” followed by three straight strikeouts may be our undoing tonight
  7. Surely there is someone in Holmes’ life who loves him enough to tell him his hair looks. … silly, He looks like a pony.
  8. Two of my all-time favorite Brewers Yount is the player I idolized growing up & during my college years I went to college with Cooper’s nephew - LaVan - who played basketball
  9. Maybe it's that he's been fairly invisible behind Murphy (which is probably by design). He was never one of my favorite players either ... he was okay, but he was average at best among other good players & I never considered him smart or a team leader. Time will tell. He may be a great manager - but he doesn't excite me.
  10. Funny - I have more confidence in Murphy than I do Weeks i hope the day never comes when Rickie is manager in Milwaukee
  11. Can’t wait to see his numbers once he gets into his 40s!
  12. Good feedback - I wasn’t aware - helpful facts to hear
  13. I don’t often understand Murphy’s in game decisions - pinch hitters, pitching changes, & aggressive base running to an extreme. I think he would make a great college baseball coach. I think he is a mediocre MLB manager. He excels at motivation & connection with his players. He struggles with his game management decisions. Hopefully that improves in the next few seasons.
  14. Here’s hoping for three up three down to begin a strong close to the season for Devin Williams
  15. I may be alone - but I believe you must get more than four innings out of your starting pitcher. Payamps is so up & down … this game still has a few innings … we need to win to avoid a sweep against a horrible opponent
  16. Only 4 innings from a starting pitcher is not enough
  17. What an odd addition to a last place team
  18. How is it possible for the entire 26-man roster to slump at the exact same time?
  19. I surely hope today is the day we play a sound fundamental baseball game Even the post All-Star game wins have been ugly I’m ready for all the slumping bats to rebound & get aligned as they were earlier this year - that was FUN to watch Not sure what if any trades will make a difference - hopefully adding our own healthy players off the IL & two or three bats getting hot will do the trick
  20. Good News: In spite of playing poorly for quite some time, the Brewers remain six games ahead of the Cardinals
