    When Veiera pitches, a 2 run deficit becomes a 6 run deficit - so as long as he’s on the roster - Murphy can use him however he wants

    Yes - I’m aware… like you, I follow baseball closely so I’m aware of the NL Central standings. But Pittsburgh has three starters who are very good. Milwaukee needs a few more quality starters if they want to win this division.

    The Pirates have three quality starting pitchers I would welcome Keller or Jones & certainly Skenes to our rotation

    Rea is consistently bland but gives you 5-6 innings & a chance to win most every game We could use a few more starters like Rea

    He’s definitely a homer - but … Murphy’s in game decisions have been significantly worse than Counsell’s
