  1. Aren’t you a Twins fan? Why aren’t you celebrating on the original website & leave us to our misery here on what was once a Brewers forum.
  2. Looks like management has determined 2025 can be a reset year & winning can be postponed until 2026 or 2027. I hope they will deal as many of these mediocre players as possible. I’d rather finish 60-102 than 81-81 (which may be unattainable anyway)
  3. I forgot what to do when we win! And I’m at the beach with my wife only partially paying attention.
  4. Off topic question: What is the origin of your board name - Pugger? Is that a nickname? Do you have a cute little dog?
  5. Looks like we may actually win today - hooray! I still find myself questioning almost every decision Murphy makes “within” the game - especially with pitching changes. I’d love to know if Yelich made the decision to run on his own. If so, Murphy’s “holding players accountable” should result in discipline for him. If not - Murphy should explain his reasoning.
  6. Off topic question: Who is the person in the picture under your name (as wrestler, I assume)?
  7. I remember being furious at Coun$ell for his inability to adjust the top of the order & letting Yelich repeatedly ground out to 2nd Base game after game. It can’t be that hard to shuffle the deck occasionally when shutouts are the norm
  8. I assume the $10,000 question is only because we are a small market team & Attanasio is “cheap” … otherwise, this would be a $1M question 😏
  9. I’m not shocked at all The last few years of the Yelich contract are going to be rough What an unwatchable offense I fear this will be a difficult season & I’m not sure our management will sell at the deadline
  10. This offense can’t finish .500 I hope management chooses to sell rather than buy & lose prospects No way this team can compete in the NL this season
  11. 💪👏🙌⚾️
  12. Can't keep the lead for five minutes ...
  13. Thank God those aren't the only options. And honestly - I only want to watch the Brewers & root against the Cubs (& now the red-hot Cardinals).
  14. I'm sick of losing ... what an awful & disappointing season so far Not sure if I'm more frustrated with the way the Brewers are playing (yes, I'm aware of all their injuries) OR the "defenders" who continue to remind us "it's early" (we are officially 25% of the way through the season) This is not a major league playoff quality team with 4-6 players at the bottom of the roster who add zero value And - I'm not sure Woody offers more than Myers (just yet) ... I like Myers more so than Priester & don't understand or agree with Myers being demoted today (yes, I'm aware that he will return soon & that we get an extra bullpen arm in Peguero)
  15. My only pushback with your comment is that Perkins is one of the best CF defenders in MLB. He also is a switch hitter & has hit decently over the last few seasons. Durbin only hits RH & is limited to 2B & 3B with a mediocre bat (thus far) … Monasterio can play all four infield positions (1B only in a pinch). I see Durbin as more similar to Monasterio than Perkins.
  16. I’d love this to be true (longterm utility infielder) but Durbin is unable to play SS (unless an emergency) & is subpar as a 3B. I fear his only position where he adds value is 2B & Turang will likely be extended (hopefully) because he is a superior defender.
  17. I have repeatedly suggested (& desired) for Yelich to be traded for anything - even a salary dump. Forum feedback reminds me that he has a “no trade clause” which makes a trade almost impossible. We are trapped & will pay him $26M per year until that atrocious contract expires. He was incredible in 2018 & 2019. He’s done very little since. Even if he agreed to a trade, what team would take him & his bloated salary on when he’s underperforming so badly.
