  1. Man I’m glad we didn’t surrender any top prospects this season for this team … no way they go deep into the playoffs - or even qualify for the playoffs - if they can’t handle Oakland & Washington … much less LA, Atlanta, & others Unbearable to watch - such uninspiring baseball & mediocre play 🤮
  2. Yes to all you wrote … I too LOVE this trade!
  3. Funny … I LOVE this trade Navaretto, Henry & Quero remain … good trade
  4. I agree … I was hoping Hiura might also be a “change of scenery” candidate
  5. Curious to know - What is Grisham hitting this year? I’m sitting at a Mexican Restaurant in DFW 10 minutes from where he (Trent Clark at the time) played high school baseball.
  6. I like it … a young arm to develop! Urius had plenty of time & simply never caught fire this year
  7. Oh Lord - I saw Jackie Bradley 😬
  8. What are some examples of selling low? This trade seems unusual to me
  9. Another disappointing loss to a really bad team Atlanta makes complete sense Losing to Washington with your ace on the mound reminds me of the losses to Oakland (3 x at home) I want to get excited & believe but I’m not sure this is our year Hopefully the new acquisitions & a few healthy additions from the IL will do the trick This game felt very winnable
  10. I hope Abraham Toro stays in Milwaukee when Canha is added Maybe Owen Miller goes to Nashville to get regular time before a potential recall when rosters expand in September

  12. I think (hope) he was kidding
  13. Man I hope we pull one out here today I can’t watch - too stressful I want to “keep the Sabbath holy” 🤓
  14. Great post … except for the Hiura comment
  15. I hope you are right on all you wrote I love our top 10 prospects more than anyone we might acquire via trade After seeing the Braves offense five times in the last 10 days - there is no need to go “all in” & unload those talented young players
  16. Yes … I prefer Black too ⚾️🙌🏼
  17. I’ve been suggesting Toro & Black for three weeks I hope he remains for the next month or so & gets plenty of at bats I also like his defensive versatility - over Hiura & Tellez
  18. I was counting on Justin Wilson to complement Hobie Milner from the left side out of the bullpen So … maybe we do bring Suter back at the deadline 😉
  19. Based on our starting pitching for this series, I thought tonight’s game was our best chance to beat Atlanta with Houser being a ground ball pitcher Shows what I know
  20. We need to stop signing & depending upon injured players
  21. Quite disappointing for the Brewers & extremely sad for Wilson after such a lengthy injury & recovery
  22. Atlanta is a far better team than Milwaukee in 2023 I’m not sure “adding a bat” via trade makes up the difference if we face the Braves in the postseason They would need to be in a slump or have injuries to a few key players Never say never … but the gap in talent is immense And - I’m quite sure adding Hiura won’t put us over the top I’m shocked at the # of forum members who continue to call for his promotion Hiura is not the Brewers savior
