  1. Good Grief … What is our record this year against Lefties? It’s probably not as bad as I think, but it seems like - this year & last year - if a person has the ability to throw left handed, he should start against the Brewers Also … What is our record this year against Righties?
  2. 50 years ago today - 6/5/73 - the Brewers selected Robin Yount with the #3 overall pick in the MLB Draft. He only played 64 minor league games before becoming a starting SS at age 18. I was only 12. He played 20 years in Milwaukee before retiring in 1993 & being elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999. He remains my all-time favorite player.

  3. Knocked in the nose? I missed it ...
  4. Gosh I hope he isn't injured ... but why else would he be pinch hit for?
  5. I don’t remember a year where Milwaukee had significant injuries at both the Major league & AAA levels at the same time This current roster has 10+ guys that I would not have anticipated “helping” us this year This may be one of Counsell’s better managerial jobs - keeping the Brew Crew afloat with injuries everywhere How long before we see … Wicho? Keston? Sal? Who else might join the Crew?
  6. I like having a couple of switch hitters on the roster - Perkins & Toro (if I recall correctly)
  7. Perkins - in two at bats - has made me forget Tyrone … what’s his name?
  8. Can they move Taylor to the 60-day IL & create a spot?
  9. I was hoping this would be the year that Taylor stepped up & showed why he was a top prospect with promise I was terribly disappointed when he had ongoing elbow issues that delayed his Spring Training & early season availability I agree that this very well could end his time in a Brewers uniform If so - I hope he fully recovers & excels in his next MLB assignment (unless he ends up in the NL Central)

  11. Nashville North … & still in first place!
  12. Any choke job by the Cardinals is a beautiful thing Here’s hoping they give us another one today
  13. Another great post by my “young friend in a tuxedo” 🙌🏼
  14. MSJ reports Taylor’s elbow is an issue again. May be wise to get surgery & go another direction. Who is healthy & available in Nashville? We would need a RH bat.
  15. I’m ready to trade Burnes Hopefully, he still has enough value to bring back a few top prospects He was great in 2021 He was okay last year He’s been mediocre this year
  16. I assume Urias will replace Ruf on the roster tomorrow
  17. Home Opening Day … was 4:11pm - I think
  18. Burnes looked horrible against San Fran recently He was throwing batting practice He gave up four HRs & never made adjustments His 2023 value is lower than 2022 or 2021
  19. I am quite fond of Owen Miller … I get Jim Gantner vibes from him, but he is a better hitter

  21. What a waste of my Saturday afternoon Strez has not been good lately The Brewers are not a good team
