  1. If Yelich is injured & goes on the IL, who gets the call from Nashville?
  2. We have zero fundamentals this year. What ugly baseball we are playing.
  3. Hope not. Maybe Murphy is as tired of him grounding out to second base as I am.
  4. I miss Brewer ball … walks, bunts, stolen bases, singles, etc.
  5. All three of Turang’s hits today “sounded” well hit!
  6. There are several improved teams in the NL Central this year. Milwaukee must get healthy & get better production from their core players to win the division again. They will also need some young pitchers to mature & improve as the season progresses. I certainly hope the Brewers take the division again but if not - anyone except Chicago & I’m good!
  7. Woods is an exceptional young talent. He’s breaking out in a way I’d love to see Chourio break out once he returns from injury.
  8. uh-oh … Washington is now all over these 90 mph center cut “fastballs” from Woodruff. I’m concerned we won’t get $22M worth of value from him this year.
  9. He struck out on three pitches to start today’s game
  10. Yell is hitting far too many grounders to 2nd base. That seems to be a sign of him entering a slump. Hope it is short lived. We need his bat with Chourio & Vaughn out of the lineup with injuries.
  11. Brice is swinging it well today. Good solid contact on both hits. Great to see his opposite field power as he matures.
  12. It’s too early in the season to dread watching baseball. Hopefully we get our injured players back soon & play better baseball. This week hasn’t been much fun.
  13. Right now, this is not a good baseball team. I’m glad we play 162 games. Things have to improve soon.
  14. The more I watch this inexperienced team, the more I fear this could be a “transition” year where we finally play to the projections (80-82 wins).
  15. What happened to our ability to play sound fundamental baseball?
  16. That’s how I feel about this current roster … far too many holes because of injuries & limited talent
  17. A player should not learn to play a position (1B or 3B) in the majors.
  18. We’re lucky it’s only 2-0. No hits through five against a mediocre pitcher & awful defense at first base. Now Sproat is on to work out his early season funk. Not an enjoyable viewing experience.
  19. Early season injuries have made watching this team remind me of the 2023 Brewers offense
  20. Our offense has been asleep for several days. Hard to watch. Harrison has pitched well through four innings but is at risk of falling behind here in the fifth because we can’t score any runs at all.
