  1. Would love for Renfroe to go on a tear this week with the red-hot LAD coming to town
  2. Where did you hear this rumor?
  3. Next two week’s task list … Win tomorrow Take 4 of 7 against the LAD Beat the dadburn Cubbies & Pirates
  4. I like Bush & Rogers more than Hader If Rosenthal adds anything down the stretch this could be a good bullpen The Brewers have frustrated me all year … I have been clear with my disappointment … that said - nice comeback win tonight
  5. Let’s take the lead & see if Bush can close it out
  6. I will be surprised if Ruiz pans out He may provide defense & speed as a base runner & late inning replacement Gasser will make or break the Hader trade I actually believe Hader will implode before his contract expires
  7. Counsell will show me he is paying attention if he “rests” Yelich tomorrow
  8. Would love to pull off a win tonight So tired of seeing Burnes lose or get no decision despite being dominant in most of his starts
  9. Game over I agree - a good defender in LF gets that ball
  10. It doesn’t matter We’re about to lose to the hated Cards again The season will soon be over No playoffs is likely What a disappointing team
  11. But he’ll stay in the lead off spot against righties & lefties until he’s hitting .199
  12. Sadly, tonight’s game was over after Lauer faced three batters We can’t score on lefties
  13. You are correct, sir ??
  14. San Diego is 2-5 since the trade deadline Hader has pitched in three games … he’s given up three earned runs in 2 & 2/3 innings - one save, one blown save where he had to be removed (in a game they won)
  15. San Diego is 2-5 since the trade deadline Hader has pitched in three games … he’s given up three earned runs in 2 & 2/3 innings - one save, one blown save where he had to be removed (in a game they won)
  16. Another epic meltdown for Josh Hader last night against the Giants … he lost a three-run lead in the ninth inning at home & was removed in a 4-4 game with a blown save San Diego picked him up (unfortunately) with a three run walk off … but I will repeat what I said when the trade took place … great job, Stearns!
  17. My immediate response to the trade - which I posted early in this thread - I’m thrilled he was traded In the Brewers loss to the Giants several weeks ago, Hader was throwing batting practice - I’ve never seen anyone give up three homers & six runs in 1/3 inning as a closer That was partially on Counsell for letting him experience that epic fail I’m not surprised by what happened last night in San Diego … they have the bats to overcome such poor pitching on occasion I believe come end of the season, Stearns will be revered for moving Hader … hopefully, Rogers, Williams, Bush - maybe Rosenthal - will provide steady closer innings & get us to the playoffs
  18. Nice job by Bush Nice call by Counsell Rogers & Williams available tomorrow to close it out for Woody
  19. I believe his friendship with Counsell makes him safe all of this year regardless of his stats
  20. We don’t need both Milner & Suter I choose Milner I hope Suter moves into management soon when Cousins & Houser return
