I would enjoy seeing what Hiura could do for a few games as a DH against a RH pitcher … it does not appear that Cutch is the answer -
As far as Brewers broadcasters … I like Jeff Levering I’m not a fan of Tim Dillard I miss Brian Anderson I’m okay with Bill Schroeder

Surer is of ZERO value as a baseball player He needs a job in the front office helping with activities & team morale / unity He has not pitched well enough to be on the 26-man roster

Who would you like to replace Lauer to face those three? I’m concerned about our bullpen tonight. I was hoping for at least six innings - ideally seven - from Lauer. That’s not possible based on his pitch count.

I would like Hiura to go down … his defense restricts him to a below average 1B & 2B Mathias is much more versatile defensively & has an okay bat I believe Matthias is the better choice to remain in Milwaukee -
You & I both know Cronenworth wasn’t an All-Star SS He has the ability to play all the infield positions well - that is the definition of utility Brosseau can play 3B, 2B, & a little emergency 1B

Not sure Brosseau would have made that play Cronenworth is a true utility infielder

Yelich reverting to his pattern of ground balls to the 2B … just forfeit & avoid injuries rather than no show - this is unwatchable

Yes … but we’ve had too many of these “no show” games for only a quarter of the year (game 41 of 162)

For a team that was 26-14 (best 40-game record in our 53-year history) … we surely have laid more than our fair share of eggs in a quarter season I understand losing games - but we’ve been non-competitive in several losses … a tad annoying to me Washington is a bad team, but you can’t play Brosseau at SS … that began what has been a less than stellar day And don’t get me started on Suter - I love his personality & positivity, but he’s been mediocre on the mound this year

I would swap Brosseau for Turang … & possibly add Dahl in lieu of Cain

We need to add Turang for the west coast trip - this is ridiculous

He already has 4 errors this season … & he is a part-timer His bat is okay & he is capable of playing several positions, but Mathias & Turang are much better defensively

Playing Brosseau at SS - unless there is an injury to Urius - is unacceptable He is not an MLB caliber SS How can an average fan know this & a major league manager - Counsell - not know this?

Good grief … play Urius until Adames returns (it’s only 10 days - hopefully) - even Urius is a subpar MLB SS Brosseau is an okay 2B & 3B … Mathias in Nashville would be a better “emergency” SS … Turang would be an exceptional choice!

Yes, the team is playing very well Yes, thank you, I did enjoy the win I disagree that “it isn’t that big of a deal” to see a big league pitcher who couldn’t get three outs to secure the win when he had a four run lead to start the final inning That certainly qualifies as a big deal to me ? I’m concerned about a few middle relievers & CF … plenty of time to address those holes ? as we approach the trade deadline Otherwise, I love this team

Why is he on the team if he can’t hold a four run lead & get three outs to protect the closer? What a waste of a roster spot Where is Suter?

Nice defensive play at 1B by Hiura on a terrible routine throw from SS by Urius … saved an error & recorded the out ??

Vintage Cain … goes with the pitch & gets a solid line-drive knock into RF I’d love to see him experience a hot streak & move above the Mendoza line

Glad to see Hiura contributing with his bat this week after his call up His defense is a concern - no matter where he plays - but his bat may return to previous expectations

Renfroe is a perfect Brewer Solid bat with power, cannon arm, likable personality What a steal for JBJ & Binelas He’s having a much better year than Avisail Garcia too
