  1. We need too much to address all the holes in the boat … I hope they retain the prospects & aim for winning it all in 2028 & beyond.
  2. The HR hit by the Angels was hammered. Based on our offense & lackadaisical approach thus far, we deserve to lose the game. Miz deserves a better effort offensively from his team. This is not a World Series caliber club no matter what trades we make before tomorrow’s deadline.
  3. If you will check, Miz’s stats with Sanchez catching are better this year.
  4. It’s been my opinion for a few years now. Today is another example among many of this truth: The Brewers greatest loss of talent in the last few years is Quinten Berry. We need whatever he provided in our fundamentals, defense, & base running / stealing. We are not the same team fundamentally under Murphy & it is not Counsell’s “expertise” that we miss.
  5. if Brewers were down 1-0, I’d be more confident. Down 2-0, I lack confidence. I’d hate to see Misiorowski pitch this well & Brewers lose such a winnable game. The Angels are not a good team. We need a sweep.
  6. No argument here. The primary reason I hope Milwaukee avoids an extension for The Miz. Enjoy him while we have him.
  7. The one HR was absolutely crushed … otherwise nothing has been hit hard … unfortunately that may be enough today
  8. I may be misinformed but I was under the impression that curve balls & other pitches cause more stress on the elbow than fastballs.
  9. I thought breaking balls we’re more stressful on the elbow / arm than fastballs
  10. I feared a poor outing today for a Miz. He seems to be more more dominant with Sanchez behind the plate for some reason.
  11. I’d love to have Urena for five years in a Brewers uniform He would likely cost far more than any available trade candidate
  12. I love it & I hate it. I hope this causes Milwaukee to hold onto their prospects & play out this pre-lockout season as best they can. I’d rather compete against LA as the ultimate underdog & hope for the best. There is no need to make a big trade. Add a few small pieces & focus on playing great baseball.
  13. I fear we do unload quality prospects, get Skubal, he’s helpful but once the playoffs arrive, we lose to LA 2-1 instead of 4-1 when Skubal pitches. We feel the impact in the next few seasons when we watch those prospects excel for Detroit rather than Milwaukee.
  14. I have accepted that he will play this year. That’s why I believe it is a waste of talent to make any “all in” type trades. I hope that management makes the brave choice this offseason to release Yelich, eat the final two years of his albatross contract, & play a young prospect in his place once the lockout ends & the season begins. I truly believe we have a five year window as a premier MlB contender starting next season.
