    I hate errors that lead to 35 pitch innings when the bullpen is already tired & we need a starter to go six innings with a double header tomorrow. Snap out of it Brewers. This is bad baseball.

    Or … hopefully … we start playing better baseball. It is incredible for Milwaukee to have won so many games in an extended stretch of terrible fundamental baseball.

    I anticipate we will do something as well. I just hope they don’t trade any top prospects. I don’t believe we can win this year. I’d rather deal with too many prospects next year once the new CBA is in place. The Dodgers are getting older & I believe the Brewers will be the next great team - if 1/3 of their prospects pan out.

    I don’t believe the Brewers can beat the Dodgers in 2026 no matter who they acquire via trade. I hope they hold on to their prospects. Milwaukee could be a great team for the next several years with multiple World Series opportunities.

    I miss the 70’s when a pitcher was told “We need you to go 7 innings today” & he did … no one was counting pitches & pampering young players. They just did their jobs & got outs until they were removed from the game having completed their assignment. Hooey on all the stats & analytics. Just keep that ERA low & get me some innings!

    As I posted in last night’s thread … it’s hard to watch this team play right now & grasp that we have the second best record in MLB. Milwaukee isn’t doing anything that well … the bullpen has been strong, starters are okay, defense is not great, offense has been mediocre recently, coaching has been below average. Not sure how we are surviving a difficult stretch of games with this mix of players & performance.

    I would rather watch … paint dry, women’s college softball, the WNBA … I have never & will never watch soccer or hockey However, if Sproat continues to throw batting practice to Arizona, I may watch an old western movie
