I would agree if we had healthy starters I agree that winning the World Series would be ideal & it is past time for a ring … but I don’t see this group of pitchers getting past LA

I hope the Brewers show up tonight more so than the Badgers did against Iowa. It’s already 17-0 in the first quarter. I can’t imagine that Fickell survives the season … Jim Leonhard would have been the better choice for sure.

IF we win tonight & send Coun$ell & his Cubbies home with a loss - the 2025 season is a GREAT success … no matter what happens in the NLCS or World Series (should we get there)

I just moved a double date with our older son & his wife off of Tuesday night since the NLCS game two is scheduled for that night … hopefully in Milwaukee 🤞 I admit to being a sports pessimist with my teams … but I’m hopeful that Milwaukee wins this elimination game against the rival Cubs & advances to play the Dodgers i can’t imagine how painful it would be to see Chicago & Coun$ell beat the Brewers in Milwaukee tonight … I may not sleep a wink if that happens … the offseason would be brutal

I can’t believe our season continuing depends on an up & down, talented but inconsistent rookie flame thrower. This seems to be managerial malpractice.

In my 56 years of following Brewers baseball, I’ve not wanted a win more than I do in this elimination matchup with the Cubs. I don’t believe we have enough starting pitching to win the World Series, but I can’t imagine the offseason if we lose this series to Chicago after being up two games in a season where we won the division handily & set a team record for wins in a season. Hopefully, we find a way to win this specific game & keep the Cubs quiet all offseason. Losing to Los Angeles wouldn’t be nearly as painful as blowing this series to Chicago. Am I alone in my perspective?
