EBJ & I went to the same high school - Parkway HS in Bossier City LA - although it was 42 years apart 😏 I also thought of Murray as an option Never thought I would “miss” having Shewmake, but he would be an ideal short-term option I hate that we’ll need to make a 40-man DFA to make room for someone

Eddys Leonard might have gotten a chance with Joey’s IL stint … but he’s now with the Giants

No … I was attending college in east Texas, but a close friend lived in St. James MO & got us tickets through his dad.

Are the Cardinals a good team?

Pretty brave for you to post that comment after the win … troll

I believe this is game 9 of 17 in this stretch of no days off.

We may very well sneak a win here … & The Miz throws tomorrow

I surely hope Ortiz doesn’t land on the IL. I think adding Williams - who hasn’t played (hit) well in Nashville - would require a 40-man move.

Nice hit by Vaughn! So good to have Lockridge rounding the bases instead of Contreras.

    Cubs lost 6-3 to Royals

Ashby makes me so nervous … I’ll pause the game for a minute & check back in soon

What a funny last name for this Twins pitcher … & he needs a haircut - stat

See: Davis, Chris - Baltimore Orioles

And winning a seven game series is much harder than winning a single game
  17. edfunderburk
Why not give Lockridge a few games? No way he would be worse than Yelich.

    100% agree

I’m not sure Gasser has a clean inning in him tonight. This could be his last opportunity. Hopefully he departs in a tie game. He’s pitched poorly from the beginning.

They’ve lost seven straight before tonight

I attended a WS game in 1982 … I was 21 … Brewers won that game 10-0. As we all know, they lost the series & haven’t returned since. I’m now 65 years old. I honestly believe they are close. Hopefully, they win one soon.
  23. edfunderburk
    Yelich looks lost
  24. edfunderburk
We have great young pitchers who will get better with experience

I love our rookie SS. We have a bright future. While I don’t believe we can win a WS this year, I am more optimistic about doing so in the next 5-7 seasons.
