  1. Who is our long relief pitcher tonight? Hopefully, we don’t use six pitchers one inning each here.
  2. I actually like Collins in this situation He’s poised for a rookie & has a good eye We need runs … plural
  3. Nice … any other player in our lineup …. Except possibly Vaughn … scores on that hit
  4. Falling behind 3-0 in the top of the first … against the team you are battling for first place … in a home game vs. your bitter rival … with a young phenom pitcher on a pitch & inning limit … is about as bad a start as you could imagine to such an important series
  5. Misiorowski is best suited (for now at least) as a late inning bullpen arm - especially with an innings limit. He will hurt us more than help us down the stretch if he has another game like this one. Our bullpen will be blown up in game one of an important series. Seems like management could have lined up our pitching differently for such a big series.
  6. The batting order is 100% on Murphy Lead your team & place Contreras lower in the lineup
  7. I was hoping for a great outing from Misiorowski tonight, but I can’t say I’m surprised by this early result. I read an article where he appeared to be quite nonchalant … “I don’t prepare for an opponent - I just prepare myself” … which I guess means - “I throw the ball really fast & hope the other guys can’t hit it hard.” He’s young & incredibly talented, but he isn’t a great pitcher yet (like Woodruff). That’s to be expected. He looks to be in over his head against this superior Cubs lineup. I hate that he was lined up to start this important series. Could be a long & disappointing evening. I’ve been anticipating this series for a few weeks. This is a terrible start.
  8. Adds power? Isn’t he like 3rd on Brewers team behind Yeli & Chourio? Maybe behind Hoskins too.
  9. Okay … now you have to … looks like a great trade for a good not great minor leaguer who has several other players above him in route to the bigs
  10. What a disappointing series for the Brewers They aren’t as good as their record They can’t afford to lose numerous games to under .500 teams & expect to be competitive in the playoffs You would never know this team is in first place by watching this series or their last against Miami
  11. This is indeed fascinating & true. Here’s hoping we begin a hot streak today as we prepare for the Cubs series.
  12. That was a great defensive play by Yelich! He has good instincts in LF … his issue has always been a weak arm defensively.
  13. I love the original Bock “M” caps the Brewers are wearing in this series. Unfortunately, we are playing like the 1970 Milwaukee team. We need a win today before the Cubs series.
