Every fifth day we need to score plenty of runs. It is unlikely that Quintana will hold any team under three runs in his six innings. Assuming he stays healthy, his greatest contribution may be eating innings & saving the bullpen. -
I love everything about Murphy except his in game decisions (pitching changes, when he asks players to bunt, etc.). The pocket pancakes bit on AppleTV+ was hilarious. He has so much “woo” gifting. He literally is fun to be around.

The AppleTV+ announcers must be completely unfamiliar with this Brewers roster. They keep calling guys by the wrong names. Embarrassing. Unprofessional.

Would like to see Quintana prove his GM and manager right by giving the Brewers six quality innings tonight. He is certainly a savvy veteran pitcher who knows how to get outs. If they plan to use his every five days, he needs to earn his keep.

This is a good post! 🙌🏼 I predicted that Ortiz would break out & be amazing in the middle 54 games of the season … I was wrong. Hopefully, Ortiz breaks out & contributes in these final 54 games. I hate that Chourio is on th IL - hope that is short term. I’m excited to see what Lockridge can add to this talented roster. Gasser may be a quality bullpen arm in a month or so too. Hopefully he & Shelby Miller get healthy & end the year strong.
