And everyone on this board was surprised beyond words 🙌 -
Now spin something positive for Yelich 😊
-
His stats were really good. His location was excellent. His “stuff” was not great.
-
Nice bounce back inning from Woody there 💪

Trying to hit a three-run homer with no one on base

Watching the last two weeks, I can’t reconcile our 54-32 record. We don’t look or play like a team sporting the second best record in MLB. It’s sad to see both Yelich & Woody being a far less dynamic version of themselves at a time when we need their best. It’s even more sad to accept that neither is likely to return to the players we remember from previous years. Saddest of all is the fact that they account for nearly $50M of our “small market” payroll.

I can’t imagine anyone signing him for more than a year next offseason … & at a bargain price
-
This late start time coupled with an early deficit makes me grumpier than usual
-
Yelich continues to hit like we’re already in playoff games
-
Woody’s letting his beard grow wild
-
Here’s hoping the patient Dbacks approach at the plate (taking lots of pitches & not striking out often) doesn’t produce the worst in Woodruff.
-
Which highly paid player is more washed: Brewers - Yelich? Cubs - Imanaga?

Brewers Lose Joel Kuhnel To Shoulder Impingement
edfunderburk replied to Steve Drumwright's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I wish him a speedy recovery & a DFA. he’s not pitched well since joining the Brewers. I hope he’s successful elsewhere. -
7 in the loss column
-
I certainly don’t know why anyone would walk Yelich unless they’ve not paid attention tonight or the last few weeks. Unbelievable decision.
-
What a wasted opportunity
-
Same story … bottom five men on our roster are expendable it is a miracle that we have the 2nd best record in baseball with some of the players we use often & with Murphy make so many poor in game decisions
-
Even if we somehow win tonight … we deserve to lose The Brewers are playing worse than their record recently
-
We have no bench left for extras … Murphy with another poorly managed game strategy wise
-
One of my all-time least favorite Brewers … I simply refuse to watch him pitch
-
Who would pitch in the 10th for Milwaukee?
-
I hate burning through our “A bullpen” in this game
-
He could definitely DH if not for Yelich … I don’t believe he’s quite ready but the bar is pretty low
-
Meanwhile, in Biloxi … Fischer hits another bomb
