Sometimes we get too cute in our approach to hitting

I love that Greg “almost” made the change before the Sanchez at bat … but decided to leave the lefty in for one more hitter. Thanks Greg!

This fact should make us all nervous because Woodruff also benefited from the batter’s eye blind spot. Chicago is a much better offense & there won’t be a light issue. Hopefully, he has six plus innings of quality pitching using his vet instincts & pitching wisdom.

Does Patrick have options? If so, he needs to be sent down until he can get outs again. He’s hurting the team. Surely, we have someone that can give us a few innings of relief without yielding four runs at a time. Everyone deserves a mulligan. This is several bad outings in a short span.

Would be nice for Patrick to revert to his early season form & close this out with four scoreless innings … assuming of course that the Brewers score a run to win it & clinch a series victory over their little crothers from south of Milwaukee.

Both have been squaring up the baseball much better recently

Yes - I’m cheering for him & check Boston box scores often. 🙌

No doubt, Hamilton has the best nicknames on the team … created earlier this season on the BrewerFanatic In game thread. Most days - he is Bunty … brilliant! Some days - he is Sluggy … even more brilliant! I was a huge Durbin fan - he was fun & worked hard to improve his defense at 3rd base last year. In hindsight, Hamilton for Durbin would have been a great trade leaning the Brewers way. Throw in Harrison & Drohan (two starting pitchers) for Monasterio & Seigler … this may prove to be an all-time Brewers best trade!

If Cooper becomes a legitimate big league player, does Milwaukee become the new “Cooper’s Town?”

Vaughn was robbed. Excellent defense from Shaw in RF.

Miz is amazing … but he’s not as sharp tonight as he’s been over the last few months

    What a terrible post 😇

In a perfect world, we would replace the following players: Yoho, Kuhnel, Frelick, Perkins + Sanchez & Ortiz I understand all those players are not going to be moved - by trade, demotion, or release. I also understand that injuries have kept OF Lockridge off the active roster + several pitchers like Hall, Henderson. But we need to address the bottom of the roster. We are winning at a high level, but this team has significant warts.
  23. edfunderburk
Not sure I can watch the bottom of the ninth after the Saturday loss. Kuhnel scares me to death. He was available for a reason.
  24. edfunderburk
Frelick needs a month in Nashville

Vaughn is truly King of Milwaukee
