  1. I still can’t believe there was no World Series in 1994 … I remember being supremely disappointed in Selig & MLB. I believe the Expos had a great record when the strike began & ultimately led to a cancelled season because of greed. Still disturbs me 31 years later.
  2. Agreed … let’s hold steady with the team we have unless an other-worldly bat becomes available unexpectedly
  3. I finally found my prediction (toward the bottom of page 1 in this thread). I had Milwaukee at 90-72 & NL Central division winners. So, I’m on pace record wise, but I did not expect the Cubs to improve so much. Should be a fun 2nd half. I still don’t want the Brewers to trade away quality prospects for a short-term bat. I hope we roll with the team we have, replace Monasterio & Cameron with ??? & Perkins, hope for improvement from some of our regulars, benefit from starting pitching depth, & squeak out a division championship. I’m not sure this is the year fro a World Series Championship (or appearance), but I’m happy to be wrong!
  4. Since we are 1/2 of the way through the season, I decided to hunt down this topic to see how all of us did with preseason predictions. After 81 games … we are on pace to finish 90-72. What was your original prediction? Would you like to make a mid-year adjustment?
  5. Where is the preseason thread where we all made win total predictions for 2025? I believe I proposed 90 wins … I honestly can’t remember Who would have thought when we were 21-25 that we would reach midseason with a record of 45-36 on pace to win 90 games again What a great time to be a Brewers fan … this is one of the best run MLB teams year after year
  6. I simply don’t understand Murph’s bullpen choices … win or lose, his decisions with our pitching staff confuse & frustrate me like no manager I can remember
  7. I hope Murph saves Uribe for tomorrow Surely Grant Anderson can get three outs before giving up six runs
  8. Joey Ortiz has had a challenging season thus far. Here’s hoping he has a great second half of the year. He’s been much improved recently.
  9. Sorry - I didn’t see the other thread. Happy for a moderator to merge the two. I saw a post on X by Jack Stern saying Wilken was getting a second opinion after receiving a dislocated patella diagnosis. https://x.com/byjackstern/status/1937269926873452955?s=58
  10. I think I will watch war coverage on a news network & check the score I have very little patience with losing to such an awful team Once again - as was true yesterday - I don’t like Murphy’s pitching changes
  11. I believe he is only behind Frelick in batting average after being at .184 just a few weeks ago. Incredible.
