First run allowed by the Brewers bullpen in this series against the Yankees (10 innings) -
Blake Perkins has had a rough start to the 2026 season. That said, he is easy to cheer for … a quality person with exceptional OF defensive skills. So glad to see him get a big hit to give the Brewers the lead on Mother’s Day after losing his mom to cancer last year.

What a game so far against a quality opponent
-
What a terrible thing to see. Lockridge has been excellent since joining the Brewers. I hope this isn’t as bad as it looks. I also hope Lara gets the call rather than Perkins.

Reminds of Grisham’s last ply as a Brewer
-
I wonder what our record would be if Chourio hadn’t been injured
-
What a start! We need Vaughn’s power to contend in a competitive NL Central. Hopefully we pick up a win today & gain a series split with a few days off this week to rest the bullpen & get our guys healthy for the Yankees.

looks like Sophia went lipstick shopping in the nation’s capital
-
I’m disappointed that Tyler Black isn’t getting more at bats & starts. I surely hope he remains when Chourio & Vaughn return.

Ortiz for Rengifo?
-
I truly love Brewer Ball
-
That’s nuts
-
Both?
-
He would look like Thames come September
-
Could he potentially play fur games per week as a LF once Yelich returns? I’m sure he would be as good as Yeli or Bauers out there - right? I prefer Chourio in LF, but he can play CF to get Black’s bat in the lineup regularly.

Friendly question - after reading your post twice: Are you sober?

Contreras is impressive … red hot!
-
Nice level swing by Contreras … scores the run … keeps the chain moving
-
What a treat it would be for both our catchers to hit triples in the first 30 games of the season
-
$14M less for Peralta ($22M to $8M) … but I still approve of the trade for Sproat & Williams + I love Woody earning $22M
-
We simply can’t hit against catchers
-
I only want to see Woodford pitch when we’re up or down by 8 runs. I would much rather have Easton McGee in this bullpen role. Woodford looks washed to me.
-
That would be ideal. Otherwise, I don’t want to see Woodford pitch too often.

I chose to stay in my beach condo tonight & watch the Brewers on my iPad rather than attend the Shuckers & Blue Wahoos game 30 minutes away 💪
