  1. To any of you that understand the balk rule better than me: was that a balk? Looked awkward.
  2. Not much control, and seems too reluctant to challenge the top of the order.
  3. The baseball season is very long, and they play almost every day. There are going to be plenty of frustrating moments and games. A 100 win club loses 62 times. But they won 62% of the time which is the best in baseball. Which means as many frustrating moments as there have been, there's been a lot more great, clutch moments. They need to get the bye and therefore put themselves in the final 8. Then go 8-6 (or better obviously) in the playoffs. Four of those starts would be Miz. That alone puts them in a better position than previous years. They might not be favored, and Im not necessarily expecting it, but they can win this thing. Miz has to have the level of postseason hes had in the regular season and the bats cant completely die like vs LA last year.
  4. Brewers gain geound on the Dodgers, or the Cardinals blow a game in pathetic fashion. Win-win
  5. Yes, though Id prefer it accompanied by a shot of Greg rubbing his head with his hat looking sad and stressed
  6. For the last 2 months, Joey Ortiz is unquestionably the best 3b in MLB.
  7. I see the empty seats. Show the Cubs fans leaving. I demand my schadenfreude.
  8. Minor point of contention: After all the crowd shots last night of Cubs fans celebrating with their stacks of beer cups, that camera crew owed me a shot of Greg after that Ortiz HR and some Cubs fans leaving early
  9. I dont disagree. Though I also wont care if they win. They all look the same in the standings.
  10. Ill never forget him not taking the ball in Game 4 vs the Braves. So maybe Im one of those people you had to endure, sorry.
  11. A lot of talk on here about the Brewers not being ready for prime time. But PCA has been terrible against the Brewers. When the pressure is on and the division leader is the opponent, maybe he's not ready for the moment.
  12. Not in the top 3 in base running decisions - Not that he isnt having a great year and had a great AB there
  13. Wild Bill! As much as I hate a non chalent Contreras, I love a fired up Contreras
  14. Another swing at ball 4, then the pop out. There are trying to walk them and we wont let them.
  15. And it looks like they want to go to Romero. I wish Vaughn was still in this game. Wasted a PR there.
  16. I dont either, yet Im sure the umps got that one right.
  17. The entire board saw Yelich leading us back in this game. (Blue font)
  18. Seeing Greg Council looking sad doesn't get old. Id wouldnt mind a split screen the rest of the way out while they blow this.
  19. In the words of the great American poet Trevor Megill, "Lets ***** go!!"
  20. Exactly. People win the lottery every day. No reason why the Brewers couldnt capitalize on their 1/12 odds, even if they arent the best team. Get on a hot streak, Miz has a playoff performance for the ages. Idk, my positive pep talk foe the night. * Chourio swinging at ball 4 has taken my mood for a turn
  21. I want to win it all and will be disappointed if (when) they get eliminated. So I see your point. But Im saying Im going to still talk myself into they can do it, until they don't. Ive been generally happy for almost 140 games, no point in getting disappointed until its over.
