    Im rolling with "this is all still okay" until its not. I've invested too much into this season to give up the positivity at this point. Ill save up all my bitterness until they are actually caught, or at least have the play in the WC round.

    Someone posted the number a page or 2 back. 63+ winning % when Yelich sits, 61+ winning % when he plays.

    I know it's because of how bad they are losing. But BA is making me angry. The gum on the pants, the fawning over Wrigley, the general upbeat talk in a blowout, he can gtfo. At this point Id rather listen to Levering talk about the staff cribbage games on the road.

    Lets be honest. If not for 2018, 2019, and his contract, .238 with a .701 OPS is enough to get benched as a DH only player.

    I don't know how much that matters. Hes still one of nine, to many variables in that sample size. But I do know a guy that's your best hitter, coming off a 10 game hit streak shouldn't be bemched multiple games in a row.

    Im so glad Vaughn isnt in the lineup so I can see Yelich come through in the clutch. Your best hitter needs to sit in a shootout like this.

    I mean, he's pitching fine. But Holmes doesn't seem like he takes much pride in his hair, and I haven't seen one overly dramatic, flamboyant body language all game.

    Yes, its one game. 4-3, or 12-0, counts the same in the standings. The best the Cubs xan get to tonight is 7 games back with 24 to play.

    Getting down 6-0 is bad enough. Listening to the "home announcer" drooling over the prospect of playing in Wrigley Field is making it worse. No BA, your first game playing at Wrigley is not comparable to your first ever MLB game.

    That's not true. I didn't like the trade initially. Ive never once moaned about the Sproat tade or how they acquired Crow. So that was a false premise. Tell me something about his stats the last 2 years that backs up ypur claim that hes a good pitcher.

    Don't worry. I was assured by Vinny that when he practices in between starts he throws more pitches than normal. So we have that going for us. Sproat and Crow could have put up May numbers.

    All this squirrel talk has made me wish they went back to talking and Vinny and Jeff's friendship. If only there was some kind of sporting event to discus.

    He had that soft grounder the other day that the pitcher fumbled. He hustled at the end and was barely safe. But he was for sure not hustling out of the box. Not that he necessarily should have benched him last night, but it wasnt the first time.

    Ive never seen that before. I wonder how many times in MLB history has a 3b started a DP with a force at second.

    They've had some chances to turn this game around and just haven't come through with clutch hits. And worse, just poor ABs fron Lara, Pratt, and Yelich in RBI situations.
