Never was a top-30 BA prospect but considering he was a 9th round pick with a career .263 average in the minors without much power, can't say that's surprising.

Totally agree. Wonderful career, extremely durable, incredible value based on his contract. But I absolutely hate watching games he pitches. I'd love to sign Woody and say goodbye to Freddy. It's fine if he's back but just don't ask me to enjoy the product.

That's one heckuva spasm he had.

I actually thought in the Wednesday game he wasn't going full speed in the outfield after making a couple of nice running catches the day before. I wondered when watching the game if he didn't feel a little something and backed off some. I didn't watch the whole game however.

Doubt the return is much of anything due to that contract. Unless the Twins eat enough salary to buy a prospect in return which I'd bet against.
