  1. And I liked it when one of our announcers over the weekend said that Contreras was going to be elite at challenges this year.
  2. And nobody has hit him more than Woodruff either. Roughly 20% of the time. I'm actually ok with him for being upset with Woody/Brewers but his BS slide is totally unforgiveable.
  3. I didn't like his signing at all in 2024 and liked the QO even less.
  4. I'm not even sure you could justify him over Matos at this point.
  5. Contreras sucks at challenges. Stop doing them when they are so borderline.
  6. I already had been dreading tomorrow's game before his latest gaffe.
  7. From what I've read in the past, there are two main versions of TOS. One is typically quite devastating and the other much less so. Hopefully in this case it's the latter but I still don't know what even that means.
  8. To be honest when I saw a headline of Brewers trading Durbin to the Sox, I thought it was one of those completely made up trade headlines with no basis in reality.
  9. I actually kind of laughed when I first read news of that signing. Wouldn't surprise me if he fails to hit .240 or 20 homers next year.
  10. Adames can't hit either but at least he's a homer threat.
  11. Since Joey hit .230 this year putting him at .233 for his career, I'd say he didn't forget how to hit he just never could.
  12. We would have been better off if he missed the playoffs again and we had to go with Danny Jansen.
  13. How many more years of this do we have to endure?
  14. I didn't know .660 OPS versus lefties was good BA. Thanks for letting me know.
  15. Well he certainly should have lost his roster lock status he had through August.
  16. I was going to say Ohtani will probably get a third but........
  17. Very true. Their four starters only got 73 starts I believe and probably the equivalent of 68-69 considering the buildup of Ohtani during the year. If they got anything close to 30 starts out of those four there is no way they don't win over 100.
  18. Plus the pandemic was rearing it's head and everyone should have known that as things were already getting shut down. I thought that alone was a dumb reason to extend him when they did. And no, I'm not using hindsight either.
  19. Don Mincher and Jimmie Hall as well? Was Gaylord's brother on that team too?
