  1. I certainly don't know what CC thinks. But it seems like he's experimenting with some marginal bullpen guys to see if any of them have the right stuff. Some of them don't, and that hurts. Maybe he'll stop giving guys dangerous chances and settle on guys who will help us win in the 2d half. Just my guess.
  2. Aside from maybe the Yankees and any team from Texas, I don't think I really hate any team, But I have "disliked" the Reds since the Big Red Machine days, when all of my family were Reds fans (Johhny Bench being from our state of OK) and I was the lone frustrated Dodger fan.
  3. I hate that that is true when he's doing it at our expense.
  4. I'm sure we'll hear a nauseating amount of praise over this latest jewel in De la Cruz's crown. bughghghgh!
  5. I do love the scientific data-based analysis!😁
  6. I saw Yeli was at bat, but I got distracted; then I saw the score jump up to 4-1 and I knew Yeli had done it! I weep with joy (well, not literaly but I'm pretty darn happy!)
  7. It all boils down to: We Can't Hit.
  8. If I'm the other team. I'd worry about Yelich and maybe Adames (Contreras if he were in there), As a Brewer fan, the whole lineup scares me. EDIT: ("Worry" is a relative term.)
  9. I will absolutely NOT be looking back at the archived thread from yesterday.
  10. I was wondering about that because I didn't see the game and don't feel like watching the "lowlights."
  11. Winning run; tieing run. Out. At, Home. I may barf.
  12. Have a Happy July 4th Evening! bughghghghgh!
  13. I once read a backgammon book called "The Cruellest Game" that compared backgammon to baseball managing. Sometimes you make the best decision dictated by the odds, but the dice screw you over; other times you do something dumb and the dice save you.
  14. I'm glad I was too busy to log on earlier to say what a gutless bunch of mediocrities we are and how Counsell is giving away games. 😶 😁🤣😁 Great comeback!!! WOOOT!
  15. Hokey smokes, Bullwinkle. That was way more stressful than necessary. But we won!
  16. Everyone can see weather radar. I think this will pass soon.
  17. The utterly sad thing is that the outcome of this game is still in question.
  18. Yay. But Where are we finding these poopnoodle relievers?!??
  19. What????????? Our bullpen has suddenly become the bulls.... GET AN OUT!!!!!!!!
  20. Sadly, that's not a silly question. But maybe we can use out best relievers today
  21. Trying to refute my assertion with FACTS and LOGIC again?! Stop it! OK, so you have a point about our bullpen having been good. Still, could we not have done better than those 2? Was there NO ONE better who could to suck it up and get out there for an inning? Maybe that's 21st Century baseball, but blowing a solid lead by giving up 5 runs in the last 3 innings stinks anyway you slice it.
