    We are very good at putting pressure on pitchers; unfortunately, they're our pitchers.

    bad baserunning in any event, as was the contact play with the infield in. Of course, we probably couldn't have gotten it past the infield anyway. This team reminds me of my youngest daughter's softball teams: solid pitching, good defense, but only about 3 players who could actually hit. It's just not enough at crunch time.

    I feel like I have heard this too many times. Making the opposing pitcher throw a lot of pitches.. then failing to get a hit or to knock in a run. And never getting the hit that matters. Bughghghgh!
