    Yeah, I'm just a fan, and blissfully ignorant of all the new analytics stats (If I wanted to learn all that math and secret codes, I wouldn't have gone to law school). But why keep a struggling 203-hitting Adames in the lineup, and at cleanup no less, while Canha, who went 3 for 5 is on the bench?? I'd love for the result to show I'm wrong.

    The best thing about the trade deadline? It's a DEADline; it ends. I'm tired of all the ESPN &c blather about the infinite posssible/potential "blockbuster" trades. bughghghghghgh (And stay off my lawn!)

    This is probably the Irrational Observation of the Year, but I consider Adames as the personification of our "can't deliver" lineup.

    ALSO... you can't keep relying on even a better than average bullpen* to cover up for a consistent lack of hitting. * Not saying we have a better than avg, bullpen. :-/
