    i don't believe that. Maybe they do? If the thinking is Banchero, then that's a Banchero plus a lot of other high end assets. The value just isn't there for a Star-for-Star type of thinking, imho. It is my opinion they should be acquiring young controllable assets - primarily via high end draft picks. The problem here is these draft picks - whatever they may be - will be selected by John Horts and Milt Newman.

    Capital Yuck. No thank you whatsoever. That's a bunch of absolute 'Meh'. Jim O stated this past week that Orlando appears to be gearing up to make another run at Giannis. What would this even look like?

    I'm going to piggy back off Jim's lovely report this morning: OF Alexander Frias was pulled mid game back on Tuesday after a double in his right field direction in, I believe (?) the 4th inning. No reasons are given in the Game Log. He was not present in Friday Night's line up. Given the nature of who he is becoming as a prospect, I feel implored to nag ☺️: Do we know anything about his current absence? You are such a godsend to our Fanatic community @ARobsBrewCrew. I do not take your generous sharing - that goes way beyond what one could expect in this day and age - for granted whatsoever. Thank you for all you provide to our Minor League community.

    Niksch is quietly showcasing what we heard from @Fungo last season: he was a very real out getter in Indiana HS ball .He has certainly not disappointed so far in Wilson. Very nice bounce back outing for Bonet. Go Warbirds!

    Hard not to be enthralled by the OF trio of Antunez, Frías, and Fenelon. Fenelon has a triple tonight. Antunez has two doubles. RHP Griffin Tobias also pitched a clean 1 H, 1 K inning in his first live game work since last season's injury

    Juan Ortuno hit the go-ahead jack in the late innings of a shootout - his second of his day (!!) and his first two Low-A long balls, no less! Wilson starts a new streak winning 13-11. Have a ball game, Juan!

    I am legit flabbergasted by the HR totals off both Wichrowski (3 HR allowed tonight - now 12 allowed on his season) and Manuel Rodriguez. Is this the balls? Or their weaknesses getting pounced on?

    - LHP Tate Kuehner placed on the 7-Day IL by the Nashville Sounds (he left last night's game early in the third frame for what is, at this time, an undisclosed injury)

    I think we all know the Sounds will likely need quite a few runs tonight. Here's hoping, obviously 🤞🏻, but I don't have a lot of faith in where Priester has been at.

    This Sounds team is on an absolute heater. Badoo with two jacks, Leonard with another long ball as he keeps mashing, and Pratt as well. Lara with another three hit performance. Jett tacks on two pokes of his own. It's a 9 game streak! AND with Memphis losing G2 at Iowa tonight, the Sounds are now tied atop the International League Leaderboard.

    Yeah. Worthy of mention. AND, I intentionally stayed away from the '6' and '9' here for 'reasons'. Also the 'TBD' is a play on the Sounds early morning scheduled pitcher. With Jim away til Friday it's a tip of the Wordsmith cap to our GOAT 😉

    And, suddenly, with their 14-8 win tonight, Wilson is 0.500 at 20-20. Incredible. They remain 8.0 GB of first place Fredericksburg.
