  1. As a True Believer since High-A Rattler Days of yore, I tip my cap to the still absolutely unnecessary trade that sent him to the Mets back in 2024. The young man kept getting better. First pick of the Minor Rule 5 this past off-season? The Shookster Fan Club was LIT. The opportunity was going to likely be there with Colorado if Shookie just showed up ready in 2026. He has been a Hoss as an Isotopes key leverage guy. An opportunity well-earned. Proud day!
  2. 2 Game set vs Home Field Auburn to determine who moves on - no easy task. Getting boat raced 8-1 in the 7th. Looks like they'll play a winner takes all Monday.
  3. Carra starting to stack outings... Kevin Garcia starting to wake up coming off that prolonged injury absence 11:7 BB:K as a Team Warbirds lead Myrtle Beach 8-1 top of 7.
  4. FIFY 😎 What an awesome Triple-A Ball Club.
  5. What in the heck has gone wrong for 2026 RHP Travis Smith? These blow up outings are now a habit. 4 1/3 IP tonight 11 H, 2 BB, 1 WP, 1 HR, 4K, 9 ER. He is mired in a truly rough stretch as a 23 yo. Really feel for him - at the end of 2025 it had appeared he had figured some things out.
  6. Yeah, color me absolutely uninterested in this USMNT. If I have to hear another heartfelt plea as to why Tim Ream means so dang much to this inexperienced group I may pull out what little hair I have left. He is such a meaningless player. I'm amazed at how the US capably creates Jeff Agoos clones. Goalie is no longer the strength of the team it historically has been, and with a Tim Ream led defense inevitably leaving men wide open unmarked or turning it over, this will likely rear its head numerous times in the Group Stage. I won't even get into the USMNT Program's ongoing inabilities to shore up the Midfield or attacking third. With their injury woes the roster leaves a lot to he desired. They will likely get manhandled up the Middle. Other than that, things look great.😅
  7. In fairness, it likely aged better than my pre-season excitement for the Timber Rattlers pitching staff.🫣
  8. - RHP Tanner Perry transferred to Wisconsin from Wilson - LHP Anfernny Reyes placed on the 7-day IL - RHP Hayden Robinson added to the Wilson Warbirds from ACL Brewers
  9. Blake Burke. Menace on the base paths. Masher. Vastly underrated athlete.
  10. Yeah. I'm just going to let this play out. Unconcerned. Just grateful he is healthy and getting consistent game action. The time it takes is the time it takes. I trust the Brewers know what they're doing here. The plan was always to get him more innings behind the dish in the AFL. Then he re-aggravated a severe soft tissue hamstring injury from the 2025 summer. Again, I trust they have a plan in place.
  11. He's caught 50% of his games this season. He's DH'd the remaining half. I don't understand your premise here especially given his injury history. He's shown improvements behind the dish - his primary position - but easing up on the demands of his body (that has experienced numerous nagging injuries over the past two seasons) isn't throwing in the towel.
  12. Boosting my DeBerry to Triple-A proposition from last night:
  13. LHP Anferrny Reyes continues to have a revelatory season. 3 1/3 IP of scoreless middle innings relief today. 1 H, 0 BB, 4 K, 0 R. One of the more pleasantly surprising seasons in the entire system. That's now 11 appearances, 22.0 IP, 31 K, and a 0.91 WHIP. Unreal.
  14. Yup. Our man has it. This young man was quite the draft find. Man alive.
  15. Rylan Mills did it again! Game tying double in a 1-2 count down to their last two outs and trailing by a run. He pulled some pretty high heat for a LF/CF alley double to the base of the wall. I'm going to see if Spencer has the clip.
  16. Suffice to say, as indicated in the T-Rats post-game article linked above: Fischer's current HR pace is quite historic within the High-A T-Rats lore. Who can forget Thomas Dillard? Man, it wasn't even that long ago but it feels like so much has happened since his tenure at Wisconsin and Biloxi!
  17. If the Shuckers hold onto this decent G2 lead, they will move within 1.5 G of first place Montgomery. Monitoring.
  18. I think I am ready to see RHP Jaron DeBerry try Triple-A. He absolutely has the stuff. Given the trend of Brewers and young pitching...why not?!?😅 We know the ERA is meaningless. The man can absolutely sling the white rat.
  19. Nice bounce back outing for Dorchies. You love to see it.
  20. I'm going to say it again like the corny middle aged Dad I am: What a Time to be a Brewers fan!
