  1. This thread will be utilized for any minor league news Wednesday. Organizational Scoreboard (Not including the Arizona Complex League) (ACL Brewers have the evening off) Audio Links MiLB TV (Subscribers)
  2. And, suddenly, with their 14-8 win tonight, Wilson is 0.500 at 20-20. Incredible. They remain 8.0 GB of first place Fredericksburg.
  3. Made walk off oppo ground rule single - well that should be ruled a double regardless I think it bounced over the wall -deep to the LF wall. Bases were juiced. Shuckers win 4-3.
  4. Well, I do quietly wonder if Low - given his raw goods - doesn't get the Yerlin long leash?
  5. @wiguy94 continued to believe in Payne well after I was struggling to see the forest for the trees. Man alive he is on an unreal trajectory right now. This 2nd HR poke is incredible and, heck, almost casual!
  6. Nashville wins 6-5 for their 8th Win in a row. Whew. Amazing. 3-run Zamora bomb alluded to above. And an Eddys Leonard double (first RBI of the inning) then key Pratt and Lara (winning RBI) singles pull led the Sounds ahead. Knehr admirably shuts the door as a replay review confirms his final strike looking for the K to end it. Not a cheap shot. The art or crushing a hanger: Don't look now but the Sounds just snuck past Louisville (Reds) into sole possession of the International League second place - they suddenly trail the League leading Memphis Redbirds (Cardinals) by a mere 1/2 G! Zesty!
  7. These 2026 T-Rats remind me of a Mike Leach led Texas Tech football squad. All offense. Pray for anomalous run prevention.
  8. Man. I sincerely miss pre-TJ Hayden Robinson. I sincerely hope he figures it out. Nice to see Broughton have success so early in his return.
  9. Imagine having 2 10 Game Winning streaks under your belt already. Then watching your Ace get hammered at Home to realize your division lead is now only 1/2 Game. It's a beautiful thing.
  10. I prefer my 'The King of Drohan'. Nothing funny about the way Shane pitches. Dominance. Throne worthy. .
  11. SO, do we suddenly have like 3-4 guys (maybe 5?!?) that can essentially vie for a 3-to-4 inning Save on any given night?!?
  12. Well, I came here to post the Hiura news but Daniel in true fashion (the stalwart Beat man he is!) beat me to it. SO, instead I came to check in our old stalwart from the Shuckers bullpen in RHP Sam Gardner. Those Frontier League stats are challenging to come by BUT it does appear to my eyes that Gardner has hit the ground running and continues to do what he does. I see 3 2/3 IP, 3 SV, 11 K. That's right. Every out a K. Reads like he's back in the Aussie League. Can someone please give this stud another affiliated opportunity? He's way too good to be slinging it in the Frontier League (unless, of course, that's his personal choice). Old friend (I weep!) RHP Tanner Shears has also struck out all six batters he's faced. Man alive, these were two diamonds in the rough beleaguered by truly unfortunate injuries. Really hoping they can find that once shutdown form at higher levels.
  13. 2nd Boeve Oppo Taco to deepest part of Montgomery's park this series. He is On One:
  14. Don't look now BUT I think Ebel is beginning to arrive. My off-season C Rylan Mills take (based on convos with peoples at the Complex) is aging like fine wine. Between he and Hughes, what absolute finds by the scouting department.
  15. I wonder aloud if Rattlers pitching coach, Patrick McGuff, isn't breathing a sigh of relief...
  16. Well, let's just hope we say the same things in about 3 years time, eh?! That would be something.
  17. 74 Runs Allowed in Five Games is legitimately BANANAS. We may need to send Ethan Murray up there to Sconny to cover some innings and get their staff right.
  18. Yeah, but they shut that door and scored two in the bottom half. 24-4 is very palatable.
  19. His swing is really really smooth. Everything he does from the clips I've seen is really really smooth. Really incredible early results and he is fast, like Rylan Mills, becoming ridiculous value where he was taken.
  20. Boy oh boy, I sure as heck hope Yoho can ultimately translate this insane Minor League success to the MLB level! That is a wild statistic shared in that post-game article link. What a find by Ginger Poulson.
  21. I was going to say watch out Babe/Cy Bauers but I think you are on to something here.
