  1. You go right ahead and down vote me @BrewerFan.I was built for this adversity! (Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the LaFleur led Packers 🤭)
  2. Words can not describe how hard my eyes bleed when I watch Kyle Kuzma play any kind of basketball. Absolutely in mid-season form. (Wait for it as the camera pans to the far corner half court. You won't be disappoined) He truly is One of One.
  3. He certainly struggled as a Starter, no doubt about it, but he didn't struggle all that much after his move and routines moved to the bullpen. He ended his season with a 4.09 ERA and 1.38 WHIP. The breadth of sample sizes is important in these complete analyses. You'll be hard pressed to find a better three month span in his June-through-August work. I think the Brewers are scratching the surface here and will look to bring him back. He also appeared on the Top Stuff + performers across all of Minor League baseball when it came to his two-seamer/sinker profile (Minimum of 300 pitches): Don't sleep on Mendoza.
  4. I just re-watched that last drive of OT. Man, they were absolutely cooking. Plenty of time left at the Dallas, what, 13 yard line? Roughly 40 seconds. Can. Not. Call that absurd Bubble Screen. Can not do it. That was the difference, essentially. Obviously, then we see the inexplicable lack of urgency from there - comically lackadaisical. What an absolute quagmire of failing to seize the moment. I continue to be amazed by the Packers inability to recognize Mathew Golden is not really all that creative in space. And, yet, they insist on throwing him back for punt returns - beyond head scratching. I would gather he is likely catching the punts at a less than 50% rate? He needs to be going straight line and they really need to take less off his plate. Whereas, the rookie who is very dynamic in space, in Savion Williams, it's like they are finding ways not to exploit that. The Packers seem to annually lack the ability to scout themselves in key areas. It is utterly confounding to me.
  5. Just a refresher from mid September. the plan for Adamczewski is indeed a predominance of action in left field in the AFL:
  6. 40-Man men called up for their post-season prep week. LHP Brandon Knarr could never get healthy the past two season and he is now released. What a sad turn for the once promising lefty.
  7. - RHP Carlos Rodriguez has been optioned to the ACL Brewers by the Milwaukee Brewers
  8. I think where the Packers are with LaFleur, today, is comparable to where they were with McCarthy before his departure. Granted, LaFleur is a better offensive coach for the modern game so it will often look prettier. However, like Big Mac before him, LaFleur isn't going to change. He isn't miraculously going to develop a Campbell-like affinity for going for it or knowing how to manage the big moments. It isn't who he is. He is a consummately poor game manager - he always has been. I don't really care how effective his offense is - and, it is quite effective. He is not a serious post-season winning head coach. He will always be overmatched, out-strategized, and he will always cave in the biggest moments. He has shown this time and again, ad finitum, during his tenure. He is an offensive coordinator in head coach's clothing. Last night merely further solidified this. It's plain as day. The same mistakes. The same shortcomings. Year after year. It is what it is. And, because of it, I just care less and less about the Packers and their results. As I said in the thread earlier: he and Bisaccia were absolutely made for each other.
  9. Matt LaFleur and Rich Bisaccia absolutely deserve each other. Two peas from the same football pod.
  10. The Triple-A crown goes to the first half International League winning Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Heck of a way to take the Title: This walk-off is all the more impressive if we consider Jacksonville did this in Las Vegas at the Aviators' Home ballpark. They also did this after losing their lead - a lead they had for six innings - in the top of that same 9th inning in this fashion: Gut check. The Marlins org certainly appears to be ascending.
  11. Hopefully the bats stay hot! I can feel the Playoff thunder rumbling in the distance.
  12. Agreed. The late season call ups of Childers, Fitzpatrick, and Murray certainly didn't show they are MLB ready. Hopefully, they settle in this off-season and in 2026 after their brief exposures. Good for the Brewers to now have that data to make their Rule 5 decisions easy. I agree with @Ro Muellerhere, as a whole, given what we've gleaned in 2025 the only player listed above worth steadfastly protecting is one RHP Coleman Crow. As to sentiments of a Big League club potentially taking a flyer on Yerlin? Good luck with that should they be so bold.😅
  13. We have not heard anything, no. In year's past we've also seen Brewers players with injury unknowns travel to the desert and never play an inning. We'll likely have to wait til October to get a real read on the situation.
  14. I am beginning to think the Brewers may be cornering the market inefficiency of pitchers with two first names. The in-season improvements of one Chad Patty has me all sorts of tickled. The development of his slurve as well as his ability to excel in bullpen roles is really something. What a season.
  15. - RHP Joel Payamps, who had been DFA'd this past weekend by the Brewers, has been claimed off waivers by the Atlanta Braves.
  16. In the end, the Sounds were very much the best team in the system. They finished 22 games over. They finished strong with a 12-5 September. Every other team in the system? Pretty much closed their seasons with a resounding wet fart.
  17. Fantastic way to end the season. The 2025 Sounds did not seriously threaten a post-season berth - tho, they certainly made the first half interesting. BUT, the 2025 Sounds definitely impressed throughout. The vet pick-ups performed. The team and coaching staff kept churning amidst a massive amount of roster changes and fluctuations. IMHO, this was a very impressive Sounds campaign overall.
  18. So, a team can spot their ball over a yard back from the actual downed runner. Ref doesn't have to spot it correctly. Can just tap the ball and run away? All is well. The incredible amount of nascent inconsistencies in the refereeing of sports - let alone with sportsbooks now heavily involved - never ceases to amaze.
  19. The Packers under Matt LaFleur will Packers under Matt LaFleur. Incredible performance.
  20. I was more referring to his sentiments in the interview. He was clear he isn't committing to anything until he talks to his main doc but he sure didn't sound all that hopeful. There was a lot of defeated in that tone. Hopefully that isn't the case!
  21. Don't forget Hendo. I believe he is throwing bullpen sessions as of this past week. Would potentially be a huge late season re-integration for just this type of scenario.
  22. Well sheesh. It sure sounds like Woo is saying his season is likely over. My goodness. Are ther e even words? This is obviously absurdly unlucky and the worst timing imaginable. And, we are extremely lucky we have the horses to still meaningfully be in the race. Can't say that about pretty much any team had they suffered this type of setback at this juncture.
