    His last name is 'Whitecotton'. Been coaching that D-Line for four years including the rise of Quinnen Williams. Seems like an extremely smart move and one would think he may have been recommended by Saleh. Regardless, Rebrovich clearly didn't add anything more than what we were getting previously - at Edge, pass rush and D-Line. Was the obvious end result. How Bisaccia continues going completely unscathed is something.

    I am right there with you my friend. I was nine years old. Menomonie Falls at my Grandma Eunice's condo. Out on her back patio deck. My dad and I listened to the radio call as Rob Deere hit a 3-run bomb to send it into Xtras where the Crew won. An integral memory in that epic George Webb's 12-game winning streak. Eunice is long gone. Ueck is now gone. And, I'm almost 50. Life comes at us fast. Just grateful we had a legend guide us those many years. I'd trade a World Series win for a life filled with Uecker calls. I truly mean that. He is the very definition of a one of a kind. A true Master at being a memorable and lasting human being. Now that he's gone, I want that World Series win in his honor. I want them all.😭

    Absolutely heartbreaking and gut wrenching. We all knew this day was likely coming but it certainly doesn't make it any easier when the news hits. I have such indelible memories cruising around Milwaukee and Waukesha county with my pops prepping his houses (real estate agent) while listening to Mr. Uecker on the radio. Those memories will never fade. "Get up, get up, get outta here! Gone for Deer!" A legend has passed. May we celebrate his memory always.

    There are Ramirez clips in Spencer's X post above, fwiw. Early reports are Ramirez is possibly the crowned jewel in this pitching class for the Brewers. AND, I've heard the Brewers are quite high on several arms already at this stage. This appears to be one of the more ready classes in terms of high-end arm talent.

    Frias walks to the stage with ol' Brewer and Carlos Villenueva, in his 'Special Assistant' capacity, front and center. You love to see it! I should add, Matt Arnold is also in attendance at the very center 😅. I think it's fair to opine (conversations abroad) Frias is likely one of the unsung players in this outfield class. Baseball America mentions he is the brother to the Guardians' Luis Frias. Perhaps interesting as well, they seem to think he has quite solid mound projectability.     Brewers named as one-of-five teams with 'Exciting International Signing Classes for 2025': article HERE (Baseball America Plus - sub required). Also listed: Red Sox, Royals, Marlins, and Cubs. In this most recent article, BA cites Domincan OF Gerlyn Payano as a potential lefty breakout candidate with power and speed from that coveted left-side.

    Getting two young pitchers already touching 94 mph is pretty wild. BA (and a $210k bonus) seem to indicate the Crew think the prize of the pitching class is Dominican Yeuri Ramirez. They describe him as tall and lanky - sitting at 94 mph already with likely room to go a few ticks higher as he matures and fills out. They say he already has feel for his change-up and breaking ball to disrupt hitters. Here is a clip of Aguayo with Tomateros (an outside 4-seamer touching 92 mph): 1-2 K Here BA claims, and it is likely true given how he's already pretty well built, there isn't much physical upside left in Aguayo's 5'11" frame.

    Yeah, reading BA's most recent write-up on Antunez has only fanned the fires of my unsubstantiated hype 😅. He just looked like an unreal athlete in the limited footage (as I've spoke to previously). Now, reading he has a natural ability to stay in CF with plus 'plus-plus speed' (!!) and an 'excellent arm' (!!) has me even more unnecessarily hyped. You could see in the limited clips he has an innate ability to identify and sit on off-speed offerings. This young man has the early looks of a potential super stud. There. I said it. 🤭

    His 2023 season with the Sounds and Brewers was a fairly unimpressive set of outings - I watched several of his 11 Sounds outings, his last work in affiliated ball, and they weren't pretty. BUT, that certainly didn't stop RHP Robert Stock from putting in more work. It really showed in an extremely impressive Mexican Winter League set of performances: 😳 He parlays that into a Boston Red Sox Minor League contract (read Worcester) with an invite to Spring Training: Congrats, Robert! Well deserved!

    Man that sounds like an absolute quagmire. And, it would appear they didn't bench test the code but just fired away? Good grief that must have been a short-term colossal dumpster fire!

    This seems to be a general consensus. I have a good friend of mine who has created an entire suite (and now an app) for parametric trading within the Pine Script back end of the widely-used trading app 'Trading View'. He was having the most frustratingly difficult time with a component within his system and he determined he should ask AI to research the issue to expedite his own learning - it was a code base issue. He claimed he learned more in the three hours with the AI led research function than he did in the three months of his own frustrated pursuit. It has a ways to go but it certainly seems to be impactful when used wisely.

    Another former Brewer (albeit, briefly as an in-season pick-up) heads to the Phillies. RHP Joel Kuhnel has signed a Minor League deal with the Phils on December 21st it would appear. As the article suggests, this will be Kuhnel's sixth club since 2022. I would opine it isn't because of anything other than his services are valuable in what he provides. He was quite good with the Sounds in his six or so outings and continued earning MLB appearances with the Rays after he was scooped up when the Crew DFA'd him in July.
