  1. This homeplate ump at West Michigan is an absolute joke. My gods. Both umps. After Fernandez gets absolutely hosed by a check swing strike call, the home plate ump just jobs him on an inside high breaker. Not even close to a strike. What the heck is this?!? Thank you Victor. You screamed for all of us. LOL.
  2. Luke Adams sends a souvenir to his manager by rocketing a bomb over the CF wall. That's two BOMBS from the T-Rats. 2-1 game baby. Love it! A hanging breaking ball and he said 'Good Bye!'. Let's go!
  3. Walling has hit two of the deeper outs you will ever see. Just two sky high bombs to the walls in dead RF and now CF. My gods. Yoshwar Garcia, just like me, thought that ball was more trouble than it was. He's picked off at 1B having rounded halfway to 3B. LOL.
  4. Castillo bomb over the RF wall. Yeah baby. 1-1 game. Meanwhile, Victor Estevez literally has to walk to the Visitor's lockers past the CF fence. He is literally walking across the entire diamond. This homeplate ump can eat a sausage. No kraut. No mustard. A plain sausage. He stinks.
  5. Victor Estevez just got tossed. He did NOT appreciate the way this homeplate ump squeezed the zone. AND Manfredi just got screwed after that by a HBP call that clearly hit the nub of the bat after the batter turned. Estevez is still getting his words in. I have never ever seen him this amped up. He may be referencing another game with this ump even. He's flashing the number 2 on his hand. Personally, I think it's the strikezone. He has been awful.
  6. Wes Clarke three-run jack to straightaway CF. Oh yeah, baby. 3-0 lead. Let's go! Meanwhile, Manfredi is running into trouble in the third frame. Men on the corners now. Two down. Wood fired a throw to 2B behind a sprinting Areinamo and the ball caromed into CF to get the runner to 3B. Now Manfredi plunked a guy. Meanwhile, the ump continues to squeeze the zone. Nevermind. The score graphic was way off on Milb.TV. Sac fly to RF. 101 game. There's only one down. Man on first.
  7. Meanwhile, an Isaac Collins single poke to CF has Black to third. Runners on the corners now. One down.
  8. Mudcats trying to threaten here with two down in the bottom of the 3rd. Pratt just took a free pass. Yophery moves to 2B . Guilarte to the dish.
  9. He returns. He leads off. He takes a 5 pitch free pass. Black is back. 'The Eye' returns.
  10. Splits on multiples. I have a baseball Man Cave. LOL.
  11. LOL. Yeah the misnamings and the criss-cross calls is one thing. He sounds like a gameshow host, if we're being honest. I miss Chris already. LOL.
  12. Equarqui solo BOMB. He crushed that ball. NOT easy to hit it out of West Michigan's ballpark. That ball was absolutely rocked over the LF wall. 1-0 T-Rats. Glorious.
  13. He escapes with a liner flare to Areinamo at SS. And Rodriguez works around the run. 1-0 deficit.
  14. Manfredi has seen the bases loaded after seeing them empty with two down. He just missed a K looking on two pitches that were very very close to the zone - likely both missed by a matter of inches. Still a 0-0 game.
  15. Sac fly. 1-0 Fred Nats. Well played and thrown by Yophery there. Better tag and sprint. Beat the throw by about 1-2' on the slide.
  16. A misplay off the bullpen 3B line wall by LF Yoshwar Garcia sees a double turned to a triple to lead off the 3rd for RHP Manuel Rodriguez. The ball was roped. But, that was entirely misplayed by Garcia.
  17. Yeah, he's making all sorts of call errors on player names. Criss-crossing squads. LOL.
  18. Walling missed a three-run bomb by about 1/2" on the barrell. Instead we get a long, high fly ball to the base of the RF wall. Whew. Doesn't get much closer than that. Tough luck! On to the 3rd frame.
  19. Guilarte nabbed at 2B on a beautiful throw and scoop and tag. That was really nice by the Nats.
  20. Hall and Areinamo have both lined out hard to the OF. Neither drop for hits. Baseball.
  21. Guilarte smacks a first pitch single through the 1B side. AND, Matt Wood does the same in West Michigan. Both balls cracked. Noice!
  22. Manfredi looking very sharp early. He works around a quick 1-2-3 inning to open his start with a nice swinging K on an outside sinking change-up to end his 1st inning. Meanwhile, Rodriguez works around a bloop poke to shallow CF by getting a beautiful CS by David Garcia with a fantastic throw to 2B. Rodriguez then gets the weak end-of-bat roller to the mound to end the threat. On to the bottom of the 2nd. 0-0 in both knocks so far.
  23. Rodriguez worked around a one-out double in the first. Scoreless with a K. On to the bottom half for the Muddies first AB's. Super annoying right now, however. For some reason we don't have an MiLB.TV feed. Weird. I guess I'll jump to the T-Rats as sole focus.
  24. RHP Joel Kuhnel has been signed by the Milwaukee Brewers and assigned to the Nashville Sounds RHP Kevin Herget has been optioned by the Milwuakee Brewers to the Nashville Sounds INF/OF Adam Hall has been activated by the ACL Brewers (signed and assigned to the ACL Crew in late May of this year)
  25. The DSL Brewers Uno (5-1) are now 3rd in Runs Scored in their 6 game sample. The trail only the League-leading Giants Black (7-0) and DSL Tampa Bay (4-3) but both have played 7 games. If we extrapolate out the Uno's ridunkulous 8.83 R/G average, they would lead Tampa Bay by a run. The Uno also hold the 3rd spot when it comes to Run Differential - 20 Runs difference...53 RS-to-33 RA. It's fair to say: this is a talented squad with Championship potential. The DSL Brewers Dos are really not all that far behind but it would appear, early at least, they may have more challenges with their pitching staff. The Dos have only played 5 games. Yet, they've given up three more runs than their counterparts in the Crew Uno pitching staff. Yet, holding a 3-2 record after today's shellacking of the same DSL Tampa Bay squad referenced above, they are still managing to plate an impressive 8.6 R/G. It is quite fair to say: both these Brewers DSL teams can mash. Which is quite fun! Offense remains the theme in the ACL where the ACL Crew are tied atop the RS leaderboard with 187 runs scored in 28 games. The problem here? The ACL Crew pitching staff has also allowed a League-Leading 207 Runs. This is 27 runs more than their next closest counterpart in the ACL Royals. Yikes. Averaging 6.68 R/G. Allowing 7.39. This quite easily explains a season spent below the 0.500 mark. They sit in 10th place overall in a 15-team League at 12-16. Their regular season will run until July 25th. Lotta ball games left...which appears to mean lots of runs on both sides of the diamond.
