    LOL. My friend, are you kidding? I watch 650 hours or so of Brewers Minor League baseball per season. I write reports on these games for this website. I have watched Misiorowski pitch since he entered the system. My points stand. My opinion is what it is. Disagree with it. I care not a single iota.

    It's really hard not to be excited about all three of Bitonti, Alastre, and Di Turi. To a young man, they are showing out in the ACL. Exciting young talents.

    Another night for the ACL Crew where the young pitching staff gives up double digit runs. AND, the hitters keep hitting - Alastre, Di Turi, Bitonti. Edgardo Ordonez with a nice evening - a pleasant surprise. He is 2-for-2 with a solo jack (his 2nd of the season). Bottom of the 6th of a 7-inning slate, the Crew have runners on 1st and 3rd with two down. They trail 10-5.

    ** Tho, for posterity's sake: To my vast legion of internet fans (🤭): I will not be performing reports this week. Solo Farm Dad week through next Sunday. Pray for me. Every night.

    He touched 95. Sat 94. It would appear Hall's next Rehab outing will be with Triple-A Nashville. SO, at this juncture, it's hard to tell if he's going to stay in the bullpen in the near-term or get stretched out.

    RHP TJ Shook's worst outing in quite some time sees the Shuckers trailing 5-0 in the 2nd frame. The Shookster didn't even make it out of the first frame after 35 pitches and 2/3 IP. 4 H, 3 BB, 1 HR, 4 ER (5 R). Shake it off, TJ. Plenty of ball games left. You get the mulligan considering how well you've pitched since August of 2023. Come back stronger. Let's hope those Shucker bats can find some magic and give us an improbable victory.

    Chirinos followed yesterday's walk-off dramatics with a two run double and a walk today. DL Hall pitched a scoreless 1 K first frame. RHP Edwin Jimenz has done the heavy lifting from there - 5 IP, 6 K. He did just concede 3 runs in the top of the 6th but the T-Rats still cling to a 5-3 lead. Lets hope they can pull it out! A win today would mean a 5-1 series victory. A win today would mean the T-Rats maintain a precarious 1.5 G lead over suddenly surging Cedar Rapids. The Kernels have a 5-0 series lead on Quad Cities. They've won five games by a combined 8 runs. The two squads, predictably, are tied 3-3 in the 7th frame. Tight tough series!

    Boy it looks like two errors late cost the Mudcats a crucial 'L'. AND, though he didn't qualify for the win, it certainly wasted Galindez's 4 2/3, 1 ER, 10K outing. Ouch. Scratch that. An error allowed a runner to advance but we were in an abbreviated game of extra innings. Regardless, tough tough loss at their nemesis, Down East. Always a thorn in the Mudcats' sides.

    To answer the article's proposed ?: Absolutely not. In 6-of-8 games in the extremely offensively challenged 2024 Southern League, Miz has walked at least 3 batters. He's walked 5 twice. To a tune of 12 free passes in only 12 2/3 IP. 7 WP's and 2 HB in that same span. We all know Miz has electric raw talent and tools, but to propose elevating him to the MLB level when he can't even stack consecutive outings (let alone innings) is a a wee fantastical from my vantage point. It's hard to know what the future holds for Miz - is he a reliever? Can he actually repeat controlled mechanics for a starter's duration of innings? BUT, at just a mere 22 years old, the good thing is the Brewers have plenty of time to find out. There is zero reasons to call him up at this stage given his lack of growth since his initial promotion to Double-A in 2023. If anything, the unfortunate truth is he has regressed. There is plenty of developmental work ahead. I would personally prefer that work doesn't come on an MLB mound for the foreseeable future. Patience. Patience. Patience.

    LHP Justin King with a clean 2 K inning. Good for him! Keep grinding and keep going, Justin. EBJ finally found some holes. 2-for-4 in the lead-off. Good sign. Shuckers win 5-2. Certainly looks like RHP Sam Carlson had to work around some runners on the base paths in the 9th. At 18-20 the Shuckers are still a mere 3.5 GB of 1st place Montgomery/Pensacola. All they need is a little run. A little win streak. Start consistently scoring some runs and keep those low outputs on the opponents' scoreboard.

    Ernesto Martinez Jr. back in the line-up as a DH. Love to see it. RHP Jacob Misiorowski gave us the ol' 5 BB in 3 2/3 IP routine today. Sigh. He minimized any damage, however as he does in his control crazy tightrope walk. It's 4-1 Shuckers in the bottom of the 5th frame. Darrien Miller and Zavier Warren are each 2-for-2. Wilken's offensive struggles continue since his return: 0-for-3 so far.

    Down East is such a perennial thorn in the Mudcats side. Losing @ Down East feels doubly worse considering what the Rangers have done to us die hards. Thankfully, we didn't lose any ground on the Nats. Both are tied atop the Division 11 games over. Granted, we have those Columbia make-ups in the chamber.

    I feel like Biloxi is No-Hit every time I watch their offense. A painful experience.

    There is absolutely zero reasons Yoho should still be gifting T-Rats fans outings to showcase his skills. Zero reasons. Promote this man already. He is clearly outclassing High-A hitting every outing. Let's push the envelope here already. I personally believe his stuff plays at any level. And, let's just get Double-A out of the way next. Please and thanks.

    RHP Logan Henderson doing Logan Henderson things. 5 K through 2.0 IP in his second ACL rehab outing. You love LOVE LOVE to see it. Let's get that man healthy and back into the ranks.

    Looks like Wiemer was pulled before the 7th - listed as a defensive sub for Yonni Hernandez to LF (?). Is this a precautionary measure? Seems like a weird sub if it wasn't some type of hiccub in his rehab.

    RHP Will Rudy had two down and an 0-2 count. T-Rats trailing 1-0. He proceeded to walk the batter. Then he proceeded to give up a 2-0 3-run homer to the next. T-Rats now trail 4-0.

    Right? So ridiculous. I tried to listen via 'Mudcats Live'. Nothing. Ugh. BUT, we got a Mudcats 'W'. Every win from here until the end of the first half with this Fredericksburg team nipping at the heals is HUGE. 3-1 W. 7 complete. Root with 2 K in a scoreless 7th.

    Dunn debuting for the Sounds at 3B. Wiemer in LF (rehabbing, apparently). Interesting. Especially with what @wiguy94shared above.

    Injury delay as Durow had two down and was in a 1-2 count. Hopefully, he's OK! He's been a stalwart in that Mudcats pen. Muddies hold a very precarious 0.5 G lead over Fredericksburg. They need their horses. Still 3-1. Two down. Bottom of the 6th.
