  1. The T-Rats offense needs ALL the help they can get. This is fantastic news.
  2. Wisconsin trails 1-0 in the 6th inning as LHP Antoine Kelly took to the Hill to start Game 1 of a Beloit double header: And it certainly looks like Antoine had another dominant outing: Wake up T-Rats bats! Wake up and seize the day! *Just a quick reminder, Game 2 will take place (typically 30 minutes after Game 1’s) and RHP Justin Jarvis remains the scheduled Starter.
  3. RHP Freddy Peralta took the mound for a couple of innings right off the ‘Bats’ and saw a successful outing overall - including a strikeout swinging and looking to close his day of work! All told, the Sounds are trailing 9-5 late. Two more innings to mount a comeback. Peeks at Box: “The rapid deterioration of 2022 Josh Lindbolm continues.”
  4. It was Series Finale time in Zebulon as the Mudcats took on the Down East Wood Ducks. RHP Carlos Rodriguez looked to get back to his dominant form: Here’s a little taste from their 5-run 5th. Mudcats win 7-3 and move back to 0.500 ball at 45-45.
  5. RHP Nash Walters has still not given up a single run since June 9th. He has been rock solid for well over a month. Another scoreless inning of work in the Biloxi pen with 2 k’s.
  6. We have our INF Keston Hiura sighting for the Sounds. Tonight's lineup card is in as the Sounds look to take a 2-0 series lead in Louisville with RHP Dylan File looking to find that dominant form from two starts ago in Columbus:
  7. I don't know about you, but this current Shuckers line-up feels like one OF Joey Wiemer hot streak from really tearing things up. I look up and down this card and see multi-hit nights waiting to happen - they are loaded and relatively healthy for a change (fingers crossed!). Let's hope we can get more magic from LHP Brandon Knarr in his breakout season and let's hope we can see these Shuckers go on a run (I feel like I've been saying that, well, every month?). Coming off LHP Nick Bennett's fantastic Game 1 outing, they'll look to make it two straight victories as they take on their rivals in Pensacola.
  8. As noted above, RHP and up-and-coming stud Justin Jarvis looks to get his ball club back to winning - the T-Rats are riding a six game losing skid and are now 12-10 in the second half trailing first place South Bend by 3.0 games. Hopefully, they can see similar offensive production as last night's near comeback (but less runs against):
  9. Carolina is looking to bounce back from yesterday's loss as they began their Game 2 at 2 pm EST. Starting on the mound was RHP Edwin Jimenez looking to get the club back in the 'W' column. Through 4 innings pitched, Edwin has held the Wood Ducks to zero runs scattering 5 hits and a walk. Mudcats lead 2-0. OF Hendry Mendez continues his recent surge at the plate with a lead-off solo blast in the first inning (I do absolutely love that swing):
  10. Awesome sauce! Let’s hope he stays healthy and can get that arm back slingin’!
  11. Kyle Lobner’s latest ‘T-Rat Talk’ features up-and-coming lefty hurler Russell Smith. Be sure to read the full article HERE in addition to watching below:
  12. Up and coming Timber Rattlers Ace, RHP Justin Jarvis will take the Hill tonight for the first time post-All Star break. Coming into last night’s game: (1) Justin was tied for the League lead in strikeouts (2) Led the League in Starts (3) Led the League in innings pitched (4) Tied for 2nd in Wins Hopefully we get a vintage 2022 Jarvis outing of 7 IP, and 10k’s!
  13. Joe Ayrault has been extremely complimentary toward Tristan Peters all season long - before he was trending to the top of many the Midwest Leagues offensive categories. He discusse his professional purpose-driven approach in that postgame pod above. Always so great to get the Home series T-Rats media machine rolling!
  14. Left arm injury of some sort. We most likely won’t know for awhile. Judging by the play itself I guesstimated dislocated/fractured/injured left elbow/shoulder. When he walked off the Diamond he had completely immobilized his left arm and was propping it up with his right arm. The trainer was massaging locations on said elbow and shoulder. And this speculative play-by-play was brought to you by my slow Saturday morning.
  15. I’m going to post this here because I miss watching his smooth outfield play and his lefty bat in the Sounds lineup: OF David Dahl signed with the Washington Nationals on a Minor League contract and he was assigned to their Triple-A affiliate in Rochester. Best of luck to David in what should be a great opportunity to possibly get back to the Major Leagues.
  16. Speaking of which, the Timber Rattlers sent RHP Rafael Garcia on a rehab assignment to the ACL Brewers Blue today. This is great news!
  17. I see OF David Dahl signed on with the Nationals on a Minor League contract (assigned to the Triple-A Rochester Redwings). That’s a great spot for him! Here’s hoping Soto is traded and he gets his shot to play at the Major League level. Best of luck, David!
  18. Boy, with Frelick gone and Tyler Black injured for the year (goodness this sucks so hard) that Wisco offense is very precarious right now. They are going to need some major turnarounds and more consistent AB’s from many a man in tonight’s lineup. They can’t solely rely on the consistent output of Tristan Peters. I’m looking at Joe Gray Jr., Darrien Miller, Zavier Warren, and Ashton McGee first. Followed by more consistency (outside of his incredible ability to draw walks) from Wes Clarke. Jose Acosta’s recent surge has been a pleasant surprise BUT they need something, anything, from the Ethan Murray/Antonio Pinero tandem.
  19. It was 6pm Arizona time and the Brewers ACL teams threw first pitches with 109 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit on the thermometer. Ummmm, yeah. Oh, and OF Jace Avina Blasted his sixth dinger of the season.
  20. 2022 Brewers organizational walked batters and hit batters leader (guesstimation on my part, don't look it up!) LHP Jakob Brustoski was assigned to the ACL Brewers Gold from the Carolina Mudcats bullpen. For a guy who can literally strike anyone and everyone out, this is probably a good move as he looks to hone his control numbers.
  21. On a more positive and uplifting note, the Batman to Tristan Peter's Robin in the realm of 'Most Improved Players', a Cam Devanney hype post. All about Cam. From his first game filling in for the injured (and then struggling) Ashton McGee in that inaugural Pensacola road series, Cam flashed massive leather. His offensive surge has been quite literally awesome to witness on the regular:
