Brewers throwing Junk out there today. I'm not even going to post the matchups because no position player has hit against either pitcher before.

Wiemer is a giant human being who is deceptively fast. He shouldn’t have tried to steal third but also HE’S SO FAST.

I’ve only been there 10-ish times and usually after my friends bought seats, unfortunately. I moved to LA just before it was built so basically told my friends “buy tickets, let’s go to a game!” I don’t even think I’ve seen a day game at Petco for that reason. As far as bars and eating, it’s the gaslamp. Bars and eateries change as quickly as the seasons, just pick a spot and sit down.

And maybe you’re right about that. But the mod didn't call you childish, they called the behavior childish. Either way, let’s all take a step back and hear the moderator’s message instead of litigating their text. Let’s all act like responsible adults and realize we’re all fans of the same team here, then move on from bickering.

Indeed. This community is something special and I'm honored to be a part of it. -
Love Petco. I feel it's akin to Target Field in a lot of ways. A decent - not great - stadium that has the best location possible (even if how they leveled that arts district to build it was... not great, to say the least).

No need to apologize, I got a little hot-headed there myself. I've been wayyyy overworked lately and trying to juggle too much over Opening Day has led to burnout. I'm going to try to actually enjoy baseball for a little while and get my head on straight again. -
Hey look, an even later game! Burnes is back on the bump and hopefully gets himself back on track, as the Brewers have lost (gasp!) two out of three!

I didn't think Fielder was #1 but I checked and he never even cracked the top ten (topped out at 11). I was almost positive he was a top ten guy at one point.

I used to love late starts but now I have a small child that wakes up before 6am every morning.

No way I'm catching this game tonight with it's nearly-8pm start. This series might have larger repercussions on the season than you'd expect at a glance. I think the Diamondbacks have a chance to be sneaky-good and be in the mix for a Wild Card berth, which may put them in direct conflict with the Brewers through the second half of the season. So let's just win the division instead. Take two of three and move on to the Padres!

I appreciate the sentiment but realize I run multiple communities that tens of thousands of people visit a day. I’m fair game for people to ***** and moan about. No one should or needs to defend me. I can and will explain my actions openly and willingly to all who care to listen. That’s literally the entire point of why I do this and how it separates this site from the SB Nation sites of this world.
