  1. Thank you! Like I said, putting together the numbers was slap-dash after the tool was built. I’m currently in Florida and can make these small changes but wanted to get the tool itself out to you users, even if it’s imperfect on day one.
  2. Yeah, I pulled the numbers from Cot’s and they’re not perfect. I’ll dig into his contract later and fix it.
  3. This is an all new feature and I hope you really enjoy this tool for building a 2023 Brewers roster. You can mix and match names, build your own roster, and explain your reasoning. After you're done, you click submit and it creates a thread with your name in the Rumors/Proposals forum so others can comment and participate in talking about your roster. https://brewerfanatic.com/payroll-blueprint You can mix and match any players and dollar figures you want. The only thing set in stone is Dead Money, the rest is entirely up to you. The "budget" is set right around the 2022 payroll of $130m and is merely a guideline to see if you're under- or over-spending. After you've built your custom roster, use the Your Comments & Explanation field to type out your thoughts, reasoning, and explain just how it is you managed to sign Aaron Judge and trade forJT Realmuto. Enjoy, everybody! If you have feedback or questions, ask away. PS. I'm up against a wall with getting this out the door so the internal options and some of the recommended players aren't nearly as fleshed out as I'd like them to be. If you have recommendations for additions or changes, just pop them in here and I'll make those changes asap. I'm leaving town super-early tomorrow morning and wanted to get this out before I'm potentially away from a workspace for a few days. Thanks in advance!
  4. So idiotic. I still can’t believe it happened.
  5. Now just expand the league to 32 teams and I think we’ll have a really nice equilibrium.
  6. I’m genuinely surprised how much I’m enjoying this wildcard weekend. A tip of the cap to MLB for this new format. It’s intense and exciting without the complete chaos of that 2020 postseason. Four games a day over Friday and Saturday is just the right amount.
  7. Well, it just breaks my heart to see that happen.
  8. I endorse this change, as the one thing I didn't care for in the CC jersey was the MKE/414 hat. I think it's mostly the font that bugs me. I'm fine with a grill hat icon or putting the glove over a baby blue hat.
  9. Yeah, I've wanted to do something like this for a long time but that level of customization is actually moderately difficult to do. I'll put more thought into it and possibly find a good solution over the offseason.
  10. Well, the Brewers are still pretty good. The Twins lost something like 2,300 days to the IL. Both are disappointments but in very different ways. At the end of the day that doesn’t matter in regards to team record but it certainly changes the fan experience.
  11. I appreciate your support but this thread is really okay with me. I *want* people to voice both their support and complaint about the site format. That’s what makes the site better. I can’t do the work I do without people ******** and moaning when I get it wrong. ?
  12. Between the Twins and Brewers, I’ve seen about 20 gut-wrenching losses this season. I’m so over 2022.
  13. Everyone, take a deep breath. You’re all fans of the same team and things are going to hell in a hand basket. Remember that you’re not mad at each other, you’re mad at what’s happening on the field.
  14. The joke there is that if Bob Nightengale tweets something, the literal opposite will happen. He’s notoriously wrong about everything.
  15. By the way, moving this thread to the site forum. Meant to do it several days ago and promptly forgot about it.
  16. I just wanted to pop in and say I’ve been watching this thread and taking opinions into consideration. With a long off-season in front of us, we have time to figure out some things, the off-season tends to be when I do the most work on updating/upgrading the site.
  17. Astros throwing three consecutive bullpen games confirmed. Thanks, Bob.
  18. Nats up 6-2 in the fourth. While a Nationals sweep would be awesome, a split today is just fine provided the Crew takes care of business tonight.
  19. Because he would have priced himself out of Milwaukee otherwise. They rolled the dice and lost. It happens.
