    It's good to see Brosseau back but frankly, I'm more interested in seeing starters return, as I'm quite over the Chi-Chi Gonzalez era of Brewers baseball, no insult intended to Chi-Chi. I'm sure he's a perfectly nice fellow.

    Yeah, I know Nick is brutal in the field but a -12 DRS at this point in the season is a giant YIKES.

    The policies regarding political discussion in the forums remains in place, just as we have the same policies on Twins Daily. But occasionally, a writer or owner may make a statement that spills into "politics", though I struggle with the overly-broad usage of that word. If we start defining basic rights as "politics", there's nothing that isn't political.

    I understand and appreciate your concern. We do this at Twins Daily but very rarely and only for causes we feel particularly strongly about. Don't expect this to become the norm in any way, shape, or form. We wanted to be as delicate as possible about this and I asked the moderators for permission beforehand and was entirely ready to walk away from running the banner if people said no for any reason. No one did.

    Berrios has struggled this season but his stuff is much better than his numbers. Hopefully the Brewers can get to him early and keep him off balance. If Jose struggles early, particularly with hitters laying off his breaking stuff, he tends to implode.

    I spent yesterday moving giant bookshelves from the upstairs of a tiny, non-air-conditioned house and when I finally arrived home, ate dinner, and flipped on what I hoped would be an enjoyable night of baseball, the Crew was already down something like 5-0. Blech. This has not been a good month of baseball.

    My job is to pay attention to baseball running two sites and even I take many days off and say “nah, can’t do this right now”. Self care and mental health is more important than a frustrating stretch of games in June.

    Machado is up 0.8 fWAR in a handful fewer PAs so I give it to him if the award was given today. Manny, as much as I dislike him, has been superhuman this season.
