  1. He... uh... has kinda been around for awhile, though. Before this season began, he had played 159 games against the Brewers. With that said, I don't really care about spelling.
  2. So I left to take the kids to the library and see absolutely nothing has changed in the game.
  3. The Brewers look really flat early this season, that's for sure.
  4. Example #4,582 why the Baltimore Orioles are a terrible baseball team. That ball didn't even hit the glove.
  5. This pitching staff needs to start throwing a lot more strikes this season.
  6. If you're considering demoting a player based on a single game's performance, just cut the guy because he's never going to get a fair shot at your MLB roster.
  7. Sure, maybe, but that was literally his fifth plate appearance of the season.
  8. Wow, it's even more extreme than I thought when I typed this. Perez led baseball last season with 120 starts at catcher.
  9. Nice play, glad he didn't rattle his dome with that hit.
  10. There aren't many/any teams that still use the "primary catcher" model where the catcher starts 130+ games behind the dish. Many teams have a much more equal split in their catching duties than they had even ten years ago.
  11. Damn, I didn't realize Hiura had such an enormous reverse split.
  12. The Orioles occasionally take two of three from the Yankees. Any handful of games are not very indicative of talent level in baseball.
  13. I agree, I don't mind an unbalanced schedule but it should be less unbalanced than it has been for the past couple of decades. Seeing a more diverse version of baseball is good, particularly cross-league play. For example, you Brewers fans have really missed out the past ten years by not seeing more Trout and Ohtani, even if the Angels themselves are pretty mediocre.
  14. If Counsell isn't going to start Hiura on days like this, playing the platoon role, he probably shouldn't be on the roster.
  15. Strange. I'll research this more in the next day or two and see if it's a common issue, particularly on iPads (I own an iPad but don't use it for browsing, it's primarily an illustration device).
  16. Okay, so that hardware should easily support the site code. I see your screen is blank, what does the display do before that happens? It's almost as if an errant ad is throwing errors and putting the page load into a recursive loop or something similar.
  17. And what iPad hardware are you running? Base model (what year?), iPad Air, iPad Pro, etc.
  18. What version of iPad are you using?
  19. Yeah, I'm going to try to address ad loading speed in the coming weeks. It's something that bothers me, too, and I need to look into why it's happening.
  20. Nineteen years between trips to Camden? That seems almost impossible in today's game and schedules.
