    He took an inside pitch to oppo.. To me that says these guys are serious about beating the Royals. Even Koskie's jack wasn't a violent swing, just put a good bat on it. Nice.

    I see they have given up a TON of runs. We need to be patient at the plate.. that is how you beat bad pitching.. not by swinging away. let's wear out the pen today and force them into submission.

    It's on MLB.com's main page... The pitcher got ultra-lazy and lobbed the ball about face high a little outside the strikezone and he put a perfect slap on it.

    Weeks has been pretty solid in the field lately.. i think... did i miss an error? Anyway, this game will be interesting.. The Tigers have a very strong lineup for now, but how long can they count on guys like Pudge and Ordonez? They have some good youngsters but i see them dropping off if they can't continue to sign the big name free agents once in a while.

    Look at those wild card standings. I'm assuming the * by San Diego and LA means that they are tied for their division. If that's the case, there's no reason that we can't hope for a playoff run this year... well.. okay.. pitching.. But if either Benny or Tomo comes back and the pitching is even middle of the pack here on out, we have a shot... None of those teams are way above us in terms of talent, if above us at all. Let's keep it rolling Double D!

    That ball just JUMPED off his bat.. and it was a nice level swing to opposite field.. What an adjustment! Two things he hasnt done all year... hittin oppo and swinging level. I bet he learns something from that at bat..

    Moeller seems like a nice guy, and i'm sure he works really hard.. but if you don't have talent, you jus don't have talent.. I'm officially on the replace Bad Chad bandwagon.

    I've noticed that Turnbow is really burrying that breaking ball in the dirt this series... he used to try and spot it on the outside corner but now he just spikes it.. With no one on base, i really like that.

    When you get up by as much as 1, or 2, it may be easy to get comfortable and just assume victory. Not with Turnbow. It's amazing that he comes through almost every time, yet each time feels like a new experience.
