  1. I can't stand this umpire. Two games in the Dodgers series there were umpires with some serious delay on their calls... but this.. this is ridiculous. add to that, one of the broadcasters for cincy has a speech impedement, add to that the annoying commercials on FSN Ohio. add to that we are hitting balls hard but right at people. add to that, the Cincy fans cheer loudly over every ball hit within 150 feet of the warning track. no more sound.. none.
  2. Well, Damian is scuffling... Bases loaded, no outs, and we get 2. Not too bad, could have been better, but not too bad.
  3. Nice Job Prince! Too bad it was right at him, but that's okay. Now they are walking Koskie to get to the man who has hit .600 against them this year.. nice.
  4. And word on the street is that the reds bullpen is beat up, plus weathers is innactive. We need to beat up on it some more.
  5. Nice at bat there by Jenkins.. this gaurantees a run will score on a dp ball by Carlos... Or a Salami, either one.
  6. When you see guys like Harang and Arroyo dominating, you wonder what Ben Sheets could do this year at full health.
  7. I really hate umpires who wait a whole week before they decide to call the pitch. By the way, that should have been 2 k's for Zach in that inning.... i have no idea where that first strikeout pitch missed.
  8. How many times is Carlos going to do that this year.. i get literally sick every single time. He doesn't need to hit homeruns, i don't care if he doesn't get 40. I can live with 28, 29, whatever. Just go back to hitting .300, Carlos. If you look at his hit chart it's obvious that he's trying to pull the ball more these last two years.
  9. They just interviewed Chad Moeller on FSN Ohio. They basically just asked him about Action Zach, and if he had any idea what was on the guys mind. He said he had no clue, just that Zach is very enthusiastic. Also, he mentioned that Zach's windup and delivery could change down the road, but it was his opinion, not something that has been talked about.
  10. Nice first inning by our pitcher.. i forget his name.. just some nobody we picked up from Arizona. Having a good year but it's all luck, i'm sure.
  11. That's a pretty lineup... The players, not the format http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. FSN North is back. You know what that means.... Strap yourself in for a 9 inning David Eckstein lovefest.
  13. fricken turnbow, always so frustrating...
  14. on a side note, rock music has gotten really, really bad. I'm not even sure if the high school kids can stand it anymore... maybe that's why they all went EMO... Anyway, i agree with whoever said we should draft all pitching and see if we hit on a couple gems.. It wasn't said in this forum, it was in the IGT yesterday i believe.
  15. Bratwurst Running Everywhere. Watchout fEr Randall Simon
  16. i was going to use the blue font, but got lazy. Anyway, i'm just doing my best impression of 50% of this IGT. Had Ned brought up Zach Jack instead of Hendrickson, we may have won more of those.. And i know it's not ALL Ned's decision, but it will NEVER be DM's fault... Plus the players can't possibly be blamed for what they do on the field... 2006 Milwaukee Brewers: Do Not Open Until After All-Star Break. refusal to comply with the above message may or may not result in severe emotional trauma, as well as the degradation of the "openers" relationship with his/her significant other, boss, and/or bartender. If you absolutely must not wait, be sure to approach the team with a keen sense of humor.
  17. What a joke Soriano is out in left field. a fitting end to the series... "You can dance around in left field like you have no clue what you are doing, stick your hand out, and since you are playing Milwaukee the ball will drop into your mitt."
  18. Here comes the Zack Jackson bandwagon. And now automatically it is Ned's fault for every single game lost by our 5th starters this year for not bringing Jackson up sooner.
  19. Alright! Koskie hits a single and it's all tied up at 2. Bottom of the lineup steps up and we just might get the lead here. Can you say 8 wins in a row?
  20. Well, if this is how we are going to play the rest of the season, that's fine. But then i have to chip in the extra 5 bucks a month for MLB - All Access so that i can at least listen to Ueck call the games... Then it will be like watching Major League 4-98... or however many games we have left.
  21. Damian Jackson... You know you are weak when Daron tells you to "Saddle Up"
  22. I missed the first 5 innings, what happened with Jenkins? How long is he out?
  23. How long do you want to baby him, though? At some point he has to be a real pitcher. If he can't throw 4 pitches for intentional balls (right at the catcher), and then throw 3 down the middle, it's not his manager's fault. I think alot of you don't really know how to react to all of this, and you're trying to find deeper meaning behind all of our problems... But it's SIMPLE. Fundamentals are KILLING us right now.
  24. How was that a bad move by yost? That's just textbook coaching. The manager has to decide to pinch hit for the pitcher in a close game, he doesn't, and it should be an easy out. It's not Ned's fault that JDLR can't throw one freaking strike. I can't believe Soriano hit that out... But he did, and that's why he gets paid how he does. 8 in a row.. this is awesome.
