Cappy with 2ER.. just what we needed... now that the rook is out of the game, we can do some damage on offense.. here it comes.
  2. steve267268
Wow, Cappy is a MAN out there.

well we certainly could have been more patient in those last two at bats.. but we got 1, and we are winning. I have a feeling that Prince will make an adjustment next time up and hit it hard somewhere.. Billy too. Way to go Jeff with the "surpriseism" on that double..

Wow, i really feel for Bonser here. First ML start, gives up 2 hits, looked straight up intimidated against Jenkins.. and now he gets to face Carlos Lee with the bases loaded.

You know, for as bad as we have gotten beat these last two games.... they were only two games. There were a LOT of things that went wrong... just incredibly wrong. I guess the first game really wasn't as bad until the grand slam. If we can get a win today, this series won't be a total disaster. We only lose one game in the standings, and the homestand is still 6-3. Let's do it, Cap!

    Tailgator you are a trooper...

damage control is definitly the name of the game tonight.. You know, Hendrickson didn't do all that bad in LA.. it was just his walks that killed him... Even still, he only gave up 3 runs through 5 and some change. If he can do that again tonight i'd say we have a great chance of going for the series win on sunday.

i knew i should have watched that game... dang it.. maybe they'll do it again.

Koskie will most likely get the start. Hopefully he can start a tradition of being a Twin-Killer tonight. if Hamels turns out to be a complete bust, i'm going to refer to him as Roy Hamels for the next five years every time i am talking to a Philly fan.

off topic, but one of the two (i believe there are 2) border crossings has been shut down here in San Diego due to someone trying to run over a border patrol officer. The person was then shot and now there is traffic backed up into Chula Vista... which is a long long way. Just tinkering with my sig and i thought i'd post something somewhat interesting.

...from philaphans.com (hehehe): the spectrum of Phillies fans DISASTER ----------------CALM CENTER-------------NIRVANA 100 percent ---------------never populated ----------just vacated look familar?
  13. steve267268
i hope you don't mind, but i'd like to use that for my sig.. could you give me the exact link to the page that's on so i can quote the actual poster?

oh man, good win. This was definitly one of those undecided games and we took it.. one game closer to a 90-win season.

CHONE WHO???? That a boy billy! We're gonna walk this baby off again and i have a feeling that Miller will have something to do with it.
  17. steve267268
Just walk him and nail fasano in the face, then take on whoever pinch hits... man am i bitter.
  18. steve267268
i wonder what would happen if Howard and Prince colided.. yeah.. its all fun and games til they hit a triple.. a freaking triple.
  19. steve267268
Well, that's just going to set him back hitting wise too.. gosh darnit.. that single play really screwed alot of things up all at once.... we don't get the lead it's an out hardy's defense will be missed sets hardy back in hitting we may lose wonderful.
  20. steve267268
Yeah JJ, hall of fame shortstop standing at second.
  21. steve267268
i really don't like Howard, but i don't wanna see him hit against Shouse. That's just me.
  22. steve267268
I think you pitch Big Cappy next inning if it is still tied.
  23. steve267268
    Shouse in the house!
  24. steve267268
Tough break for Billy Hall. You can tell he's still a little rough out there but that was not an easy play. He's 0 for 2 on those hard ones and 1 for 1 on insane willie mays style sliding catches.

How's the Philly bullpen this year?
