Gotta love that curveball when he gets it down. Way to battle your way out of that one Dave. Let's GET HIM SOME RUNS!!!

9 minutes til we can all forget about yesterdays debacle.

Sorry about that, i read the preview from anothere site and they had listed Moeller as the starter. I'll know better next time.

feast or famine tonight folks... Will we continue to show great approaches early on, only to hack away with RISP? I like the lineup. Moeller has been doing well, let's see what he's got for tonight. At his age, compared to Miller's, it'd be great to see him start hitting and solve our catching woes.

I assume thats 8 Eastern, 7 Central. So only a half an hour to go. What if it is before that? What am i supposed to do, flip back and forth every five minutes so i don't miss the opening pitch? rediculous... how can they NOT have a retractable roof? we do. hehe

i don't have the time to post it, but run on over to ESPN.com and check out Glavine vs. Milwaukee in the "Splits" section of his stats. Also check out his performance against the individual batters. Then check out Cappy vs. the Mets hitters. I like our chances tonight, based on the stats anyway.

Wow, probably didn't deserve to win that game with all the LOB and juicing the bases at the end. But we did it again! It will be interesting to see how well the Pirates do against Cincy. They don't have their top of the rotation going, but Cincy doesn't either so they could fare pretty well.

This just in: I dont think i can handle extra innings.. so let's GET SOME RUNS!
  9. steve267268
This will be an interesting inning. Jenks-Lee-Hall-Weeks-Fielder up for us, but first Wise pitching. Wise allowed some pretty good contact on opening day but they fell short. Let's see if he can make em miss a little better.

Alright, so do we all agree that Ohka is pinch hit for if someone gets on this inning? Also, it looks like they have changed the left field LCD. Am i right? I sure like this format better.
  11. steve267268
Billy didn't expect the ball to spike like that, therefore didn't expect the guy to be in the basepath. He avoided injury, and as for sliding into first base, i'm just pretending i didn't hear that.

Prince has a decent glove over there at first. We're going to see a few Ole's on plays like that this year, but he is gonna be a pretty good defender.
  13. steve267268
If Burnitz was playing for us on that at bat, the pitcher throws some real high or real low junk and he strikes out.. since he plays for the pirates and our player is pitching, he gets something hittable and gets on base.. we need to start throwing more garbage to the "power" hitters just like teams do to our power hitters.. If Fielder plays for the Pirates he has 3 homeruns by now. Other than that, i'm happy :D

yeah, boring inning. Not too many of those yet this season. I wonder how many innings we HAVEN'T reached base so far.
  15. steve267268
Relax, good inning by Tomo and we got 7 innings to get HIM SOME RUNS!!
  16. steve267268
    Well this is sure frustrating.
  17. steve267268
    Thatta Boy PRINCE!
  18. steve267268
1 run won't kill us. They shouldn't have gotten that 1 run but Ohka is pitching pretty well, and we are getting to Duke.
  19. steve267268
what the... that i did not expect
  20. steve267268
    great at bat by Brady
  21. steve267268
JJ with the Play! yet another thing that would have went wrong last year goes well this year. Ohka is out of the first unscathed. Get him some runs!!
  22. steve267268
Lets just make this a quick 1st inning Tomo. Then you can cruise.
  23. steve267268
Menards commercials = FSN North!!! FINALLY! I like Bob but synching up radio and tv just doesn't do it for me. And the Pitt announcers aren't very good.
  24. steve267268
personal poropotties? on the back of the pickup? EXXXXTREEEEEEMMMEEE!!!
  25. steve267268
They do not need to sit Prince. That would be a bad move. If he is just a little more patient, he'll be fine.
