    Great game, and i almost bet on this one tonight.. we were +200 tonight! Last time we were that far under dogged was against Pedro and it was a fruitful night for me. Great win, someone called 6-3, and guaranteed a win.. well.. he almost got the score, but i'm sure he's not too dissapointed.

    It's interesting you bring that up. I was listening to sports radio out here in San Diego today and they were saying the exact same thing about the Padres. They were saying that they were "built" for the short series, and not the long haul of a season. What i was thinking then, and what i am thinking now, is that that is true with just about any team hovering near .500. I think with that kind of talk you are just splitting hairs. However, it is good that we can say that, as it hasn't been true for a very very long time. But it doesn't make me feel any better about not making the playoffs.

    Houston announcers mentioned that they haven't done well against lefties this year... I'd like to see Eveland in this one.

    What happened? I was about to push the "input" button on the old remote and make a blockbuster trade for Reggie Bush on Madden (Imported him from NCAA and the 9'ers drafted him), when i said to myself, "If i change it now, Rickie will hit one and I will miss it." Then Rickie hit one right onto Bagwell's porch. A HR off Clemens should show up on BBTN, as well as add a little fuel to Rookie of the Year talk.
