    Good News: We won, SD and PHL lost, and TT increased his trade value during the offseason. Bad News: We aren't going anywhere unless our starting pitching excels. It didn't.

    No. I won't root for Pujols to succeed at beating anything short of cancer or heart disease. The thing that burned it for me is that "The Classies" complained about (and insulted) the Brewers when Gomez or a couple other of the hispanic players flipped their bats, but Pujols did it all the freaking time.

    You should look at the starts of the other guys like Ashby and Alexander, Small and Chi-chi compared to Anderson, etc. We're getting worse innings from them, too.

    Thank God (and Alexander's ground ball propensity) for these double plays.

    It doesn't give the "not against brewers" stats. Cruz has 6 HR vs the brewers, and 5 vs. the rest of the league.

    he's been pretty bad lately. It's good to win when he doesn't dominate. Because our only hope to get anywhere is if our starters dominate. Good to know we can win when they don't.
