    Ok really sticking with the optimism side..... as a SSH, when do we expect them to start mailing out the playoff order forms? With the 'Crew at least making it back into the discussion, the FO has to have plans in place in case a miracle happens.

    Plus, Rickie had some really bad luck last night. He really hit the ball hard, but with how the Cub's defense was set up, they ended up begin caught. I thought for sure one was a double off the bat.

    1. Getting back to .500 or better. I really think the can do it. Playing very well lately. No reason they can't. Anybody have anything else?

    I'm not really 100% ready to write Naveson off. People were writing Capuano (sp?) off after his 2nd TJ, but he's done alright afterwards. It is more likely that Narveson won't come back, but that doesn't mean he can't.

    Will be at the game Saturday, but we are meeting other 'seat' friends (other partial season seat holders that have seats near ours) before the game for some food. (edit) Plus the wife doesn't want to get there that early.

    Is it wrong for me to be rooting against the USA basketball team? As far as coverage goes, didn't NBC use EVERY cable they had for Athens or Bejing, or was the the Vancouver winter games. I just remember seeing USA and TNT having olympics on it.

    I know its a little different with his cracked rib(s) when he was here... he started out really bad for us too, right? But you gotta wonder, since Greinke is such a routine guy, if the move itself messed him up. Even his S.A.D. might be kicking up.

    I understand its not expensive, but i really prefer the taste of my tap (private well) water to spring or purified water (as wierd as that sounds)

    Hart has played 1st base. Was drafted as a 1st baseman. And has the height and reach that really helps. He's the more natural 1st baseman. Aside from that, I cant say he's better defensively, but I'm not worried about Hart's defense at 1st.

    Or that looks like its still a sealed bottle... The wife and I always bring in refilled plastic water bottles. I just keep an eye out for what checker is being overly vigilant.

    I think before we crown Fiers as our #1, we see if he can pitch a whole season... If he puts up ~3.0 to 3.5 next year... then I'm sold.

    Sorry, Camp Randall cannot be used for Soccer or field hockey, the crown on the field is WAY too exaggerated for a sport where the ball has to roll on the ground. But it would be cool for Lambeau to host either. And does the velodrome have to be inside? because Kenosha already has a velodrome (outdoors though)

    To me, the first hit woulda been a single in a normal game, Braun just took the best angle to try and catch it to preserve the perfecto, even though he had no chance (but for some reason I keep thinking Gomez might have had a shot had he been playing, lol)....

    There is an increase in National media cash flow (rumored or actual, not sure, heard it here) And doesnt the new TV contract with FSN start next year, or was that this year?

    I think if he pitches very poorly the rest of the year, there's a chance it could hurt his value. More teams might be weary. I honestly do not expect that to happen, but it is a possibility.

    I was there for the Brauny Granny... (it was the Miller lite cooler bag give-away against the Pirates) Was at the game where Prince and Ricky both got their first HR.. (against the Twins, High Life Barrel Man hat give-away) Opening Day where Russel 'The Muscle' hit two HR, one off of JJ's number on the Old scoreboard,

    Was nice for DirecTV to have a free weekend of MLB extra innings.... got to watch the last inning.

    Not to make it sound funny, but it kinda is Wife fell out of bed the other day (around 3am) while I was getting ready for work (scared the crap out of me since i was in another room). Now her left collerbone/shoulder area really bothers her. I'm hoping she just jammed her shoulder and nothing more.
