  1. Votto looked pretty athletic on that play, don’t you think?
  2. The only problem was Miller wasn’t able to finish the Reds off. I agree with your comment, he was absolutely needed. Hopefully we can have a wide enough margin tomorrow, he can have the day off, and he’ll be ready for Sunday. Go Brewers.
  3. If we are that worried about overusing relievers and holding them off for games we may not need them, maybe CC should just shut it down.
  4. One game at a time please. Maybe we should have held off on Devin and pitch him tomorrow, if we need him or not.
  5. And these is why we needed those add on runs……..arghhhhhhhhhhh
  6. Not worked up, just disappointed that they didn’t added on runs with the bases loaded TWICE. With the Cubs/Pirates recent series I’m a little gun shy. I’m sure you can understand that
  7. I was just going to say 10 LOB and especially leaving the bases loaded twice is just plain bad.
  8. We have stupid batters (and poor coaching/instructors).
  9. That’s fine if +0.500 floats your boat. Playoff success was bumbled since 2020 with a 2-6 series record.
  10. That’s fine if you define +0.500 a successful season. Playoff success was bumbled since 2020.
  11. My point exactly….short term success most likely followed by a long drought of losing seasons.
  12. I’m sure you agree, the owner’s view of success differs drastically from the fan’s view of success. I know that is what the ballplayers believe when they say, “ The sport is really just a business.” Always has been and always will be!
  13. It’s always have been the nature of the business. Large markets make the most $$$$ and fan interest. Just review MLB history.
  14. I wouldn’t call it nonsense. The history of MLB has never been kind to small market team/cities EVER. Teams from these cities can’t sustain success for much longer than that timeframe.
  15. Agreed but that will probably end soon after they offload Burnes, Woodruff and Adames (probably more). The most telling thing you refer to as “Brewer history” really is the very sad state of almost all previous Brewer teams and their current and possibly future chances of competing in the MLB.
  16. I sure wouldn’t expect this to change any time soon, unless Attanasio finally decides he has had enough of baseball (or Brewers) and sells the team. He and his fellow Brewer owners just don’t have the financial resources to compete in the MLB anymore.
  17. Maybe Attanasio and Arnold wil pick one up. When pigs fly….too cheap.
  18. OK. I guess we will find out tomorrow.
  19. Not going to happen. Cubs will win 3 games in this series. Read the tea leafs.
  20. Why ph for Wiemer when Winker strikes out on 3 pitches. Just stupid CC.
  21. Those 2 send are totally inexcusable!
