Absolutely not. In the past the pitching would get on a run and carry them a bit but the hitting and defense is so bad it can't happen.

When the season is over we will all look back and say if only Trevor Rosenthal was healthy. Lol

Counsell after the game I just wanted Freddy to get rested up, we have to look at the future and all of the bites at the apple going forward. No sense in throwing a no hitter tonight.

Paul Molitor was the best hitter I ever saw. The swing was flat balanced and quick. I know he had some issues as a manager but would love to see a guy like that as our hitting coach. somebody with the resume and the cred to say look son....

I trust that if you could do this the hitting coaches who are actually paid to see this can as well.

That ab by Adames is why this team sucks. Guy on base nobody out and he got himself out swinging like a madman. Then you have to steal to move the runner and he is out. Brutal baseball all around.

Caratini is another example of the Counsell school of gritty vets. Counsell remembers being allowed to hang on for dear life to a spot despite being no good. He is extending the same courtesy to multiple guys.

Both ab Anderson is talking like McCuthen has been so much better than expected the Brewers have had to play him more than they thought. Imagine that.

You can't even bunt them over because the next man is a guaranteed strikeout so what can you do??

You would think they would except what they see is the guy can't even get into the lineup and I play everyday.

The Taylor situation when you have four better options is maddening. I know we are just trying to get a bunch of bites at the apple but why do we have to eat the rotten piece in centerfield??

The schedule next year is not going to make things any better for this team. This was the last best chance for this team to make it.

Dodgers have Tracye Thompson who is the 6th outfielder and is better that Tyrone Taylor our starter.

This roster 1-26 is so very thin. I would say 18-26 is one of the worst in the league. That's why they should be calling up the talented young guys. They are not very talented at the end of the roster compared to teams they are competing against.

Yes. I think so. It just very strange to me that despite the money spent they basically used him as a AAA arm and never gave him a shot despite giving shots to every arm in the organization. You are paying him regardless.

Why was he given three years?? Who were they bidding against?? It never made sense.

That pitching change needs to be asked about. That made zero sense from start to finish. Now you are going to have to use Pablo at some point. Fire Counsell already. I've seen enough.

Is it wild to anyone that the Brewers signed Josh Linblom to a 3 year contract only to send him to the minors never to be seen again for two years?? Who else has done this?? Brutal resource management.

If Gallo can play center Brewers should have taken a shot. Of course he has a bat so we were good there.
