I've been watching this team for a long time. I've sat and watched decent starts fittered away as a season progresses. I've watched as great players were traded away as they came into their own. But now, I see something new. I see something that gets me excited. Yes, they're having a good season. But beyond the current team, I see a plethora of prospects. I see an owner who wants to win. I see a fanbase willing to come to the park. I see a resurgance of Brewers baseball. As someone who can't afford a big ticket package, I'm getting squezzed out by the casual fan. At first, this upset me but I embrace it now. I'm not sure where I'm going with this but the fact that I've seen multiple discussions on this board about how to manage the bullpen and lineup gets me giddy. This is the first time in a while that I can remember that this team has OPTIONS. I may watch many games on FSN rather than in the park where I'd rather be but I love the fact that the tide seems to be turning. This is much longer than I had intended. That is all.
