  1. They remind me of Joe Ayrault's first half Timber Rattler team last year.
  2. This Biloxi team has not been very enjoyable.
  3. Part of that was because of Hader and because of the 3 batter minimum rule changes.
  4. Looks like the strike call Harper was whining about was correctly called a strike. While it was a quick hook, I'm pretty damn tired of players whining after clear strikes are called strikes.
  5. Prospects Worldwide are at the Brewers ACL game tonight and have posted some Bitonti and Di Turi tape. I'll just link one of the tweets and you guys can find the others through that.
  6. Definitely some positive pitching on the farm tonight. Carlos F Rodriguez continues trending in the right direction. These last 4 starts from him are what we were expecting to get from him this year. Starting to put that bad start to the year behind him. Logan Henderson didn't have a great line, but he was running the FB up to 97 a couple times and his stuff looked great. Didn't locate as well as we know he can, but with his stuff looking this improved and the command we know he has flashed he could have a big time prospect bump this year. KC Hunt with 8 K's over 4 innings. I'm about to watch him pitch. Knoth with 4 solid innings. The FB was looking great at the top of the zone and seemed like the curveball command was better than what I'm used to seeing. Nice 7 SO performance.
  7. Great call by Murphy using Koenig as an opener. Boston has 3 LHH in their first 4 hitters who absolutely crush RHP and are bad against LHP. Duran - 135 wRC+ vs RHP, 80 wRC+ vs LHP Abreu - 149 wRC+ vs RHP, 41 wRC+ vs LHP Devers - 187 wRC+ vs RHP, 81 wRC+ vs LHP
  8. I'd like to see Uribe actually start pitching well in AAA before they entertain bringing him back up. He just hasn't been very good in 2024 so far.
  9. I'd imagine we see Blalock either sent back to AA or sent to AAA
  10. Chad Patrick with a 12 strikeout game. He's kind of had a very under the radar good season so far.
  11. Caden Vire is just not having a good time in the early ACL season.
  12. Good news on the DL Hall injury scare front.
  13. Fillipo Di Turi with his first professional HR! To CF according to gameday!
  14. And they couldn't even get the Manfred runner over to 3rd base. Biloxi loses 5-4.
  15. Yikes that's Biloxi baseball for you in the year 2024. They open the bottom of the 9th going single, double, single, triple to tie the game 4-4 with no outs. Murray, Warren, and Sparks then each strikeout with the winning run 90ft from home.
  16. Luke Adams with an error that led to a Cubs run and 2 outs on the basepaths tonight. Not great baseball from Wisconsin.
  17. I'm going to need someone else's opinion but it looked like to me that DL Hall re-injured himself on one of his last 2 pitches in the first inning. Looked awkward and was cursing when walking back to the dugout.
  18. I think the Fastball and Changeup were good all game. Breaking balls just kind of looked dead today. Didn't seem sharp breaking at all.
  19. Cardinals are playing some good baseball right now unfortunately. 2 innings away from being 7-2 since their series in Milwaukee and 2 innings away from sweeping the Orioles who haven't been swept in 2 years. Maybe they aren't quite dead yet.
  20. Watching Craig Yoho immediately following Costello really emphasizes how nasty Yoho is. They have pretty similar pitch mixes and Yoho just gets so much nastier movement on his stuff. I really don't understand why this guy is still in A+ at this point.
  21. Costello comes in and strands Yerlin's inherited runners after a couple nervy AB's. 4-1 lead as we head to the 8th inning.
  22. Yerlin Rodriguez unfortunately continues to ride the struggle bus. It's 20 grade command with him these days. 4 BB in 1.1 IP today. He's up to 18 BB in 14 IP on the year.
  23. I mean yeah his velo was down about 1.5 mph over ST and AAA this year.
  24. Honestly feels like one we stole with Gasser having to go 6 innings to save the pen despite not having his best stuff.
